Best hotel in chania

Pros: Everything. The staff is very friendly. It's value for money and provides an awesome view of the chania town

Amazing balcony / view AND great location - will be back!

Pros: The view over the old harbour was incredible! Lovely little balcony to people watch and drink it all in. A great location within the old town to explore and so conveniently located for lots of bars and restaurants. Top tip, definitely do to the deli just down the road and grab a bottle of wine and some nibbles and spend some time soaking up the atmosphere from the balcony.

Cons: The bathroom was small but functional

Pros: Location was excellent right in the old town port. Clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Cons: Difficult to shower without water getting everywhere in bathroom.

Great location beautiful views close to everything and comfortable beds and great staff

Pros: Great view, nice small balcony, good double glazing the 3rd bed was useful as e had travelled from Australia and had luggage. Staff were helpful good recommendations.

Cons: It is an older property and a little worn, the bathroom was functional but older however this was not a surprise and did not detract from our stay. The lift is small but fine.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

Pros: Love this property, second time there this year. Sea view rooms are the best, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, bed and pillows are super comfy.

Clean hotel with perfect location

Pros: The location is very good just at the harbour promenade with Seaview and restaurants, shops just as you step outside the hotel. Old town is just a few minutes of walk away. The hotel is very clean, and the bed is very comfy (I slept like a baby). Breakfast is served in the restaurant by the reception everyday. I didn't try it myself, but it seemed good from the looks of it. The reception is open 24/7, which is convenient if you are arriving late at night.

Cons: The furniture and style of the hotel is basic and a bit old fashioned so if you are looking for something more exclusive this is not for you. In my room (304), the main window didn't close 100%, so there was some noise in the evening.

An idyllic location in a perfect bay.

Pros: The location was amazing and the balcony offered a superb view. It was only a few meters from the beach meaning a sea swim before breakfast was a must! Being located at the end of the bay meant it was also a little more private than other places. Loutro is only 15 mins by ferry from Chora Sfakion, where you can get the bus to Impros Gorge, which makes Loutro both remote and quiet and accessible. The room itself was modern and spotless, but the painted wooden ceiling added a touch of rustic charm. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and really made you feel welcome. We loved it so much we stayed an extra 2 days!

Pros: The location and view from the room was fantastic. The room was basic but met our needs. It was noisy at night as we were on the waterfront but we knew that would be the case. The room was serviced each day.

Cons: Never enough toilet paper

Lucia Hotel right on the Venetian Port a great experience

Pros: Location, location, location! At night you could listen to the lapping of the waves once people had gone to bed! There wasn’t any noise problem as it could be shut out easily. While the room and bathroom were small, they were very clean and comfortable. The charm of being on the Venetian port was very romantic. A destination to remember for sure! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fabulous restaurants were easily walked to. Try the Taman next door- great food and great value!

Cons: Some shampoo and conditioner would have been appreciated.
