Great option for Chania

Pros: An amazing hotel that has been beautifully refurbished. Everything was very clean. Location is fantastic and literatly just across the street from the Old city and two blocks from the bus station. Staff were great.

Cons: We had the two bedroom unit and the second bedroom was a bit small. I did not read the descriptions very well as the only shower was located in the master bedroom.

Beautiful, charming, and perfect location

Pros: Wow! This little place exeeded all expectations. I booked it for just 1 night because the great location and good price, but when I arrived it was so beautifully renovated & decorated, so stylish, high quality furnishings, spotlessly clean... was really impressed. I stayed at another hotel in Crete that was 3x this price, and that other room wasn't even CLOSE to as nice as the one at 1866. Very convenient location 3 min walk from the bus station and 1 minute walk from the start of Old Town.

Cons: No complaints from me.

Pros: The location was exceptional as it was central and close to everything. The building has been tastefully restored with modern comforts. The room was beautiful and clean and the manager was very helpful and polite. I will definitely be coming back.

Pros: Good location, very near the center and main streets. Clean, modern and confortable rooms.

Cons: Parking is missing. The streets nearby are also pretty busy. It takes time to find a parking spot. Some of the days we parked 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Great Experience

Pros: The hotel is very clean, you can feel the cleanliness from the entrance. The room was very nice and a good size, with a view of the square exactly at the port entrance. The bathroom was also nice and had all the facilities, including a free bottle of wine! The reception lady was exceptionally nice and also remembered my family's birthday!

Pros: The best hotel in town! After so many years I found the place I would go every year. Everyone is amazing there and super helpful. All the rooms are clean and well renovated.

Modern and in the heart of the historic center.

Pros: Modern refurbished rooms, right in the center, peace and quiet, excellent climate control system. Amazing housekeeper.

Cons: I cannot find anything negative within the scope of the room details listed.

Royal & Luxurious stay!

Pros: Central location, a few minutes walk to the Old Town. The property is tastefully decorated. We stayed in the 2-room set, and it was luxurious! The lady at the reception was very nice too. Pick-up point for our day trip to Elafonissi beach was 3 mins walk from the property. A great place, don’t hesitate to book it!

Cons: There is no elevator, we had to take 2 flights of stairs to get to our room. It wasn’t much of a problem for us, but it’s good to know before booking. There should also be provision for complimentary breakfast for the price.
