A lovely, traditional hotel ideally located close to Chania’s harbour!

Pros: A fantastic location for sightseeing in and around Chania. Yards from the harbour, this was an ideal, quiet place to stay. George was a fantastic host, welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to help us. Thank you Hotel Helena!

Fantastic!

Pros: No Breakfast included, there are a plethora of excellent nearby eateries so not important in the hotel.

Cons: Stairs, but we accept is an historical old charming building with lots of traditional features, the staff were very helpful but perhaps it might help to highlight the vertical access challenges?

Wish we stayed more

Pros: Hotel Helena is located in the historical centre of Chania on a cosy pedestrian only street. Even though it's located near the lively part of town it's very quiet and you can get a good night sleep. Room is fully equipped with anything you need, spotless clean and there are fresh sheets every day, hotel even provides towels for the beach which I personally haven't seen before. The most valuable asset are the hosts. George and his lovely colleague were kind, friendly and a huge help during our stay with useful advice about anything you can think of which for us is the most important thing for a vacation.

Cons: Parking in the area can be tricky, but if you follow the advice of the hosts you will have no problem.

Pros: Beautiful location, very comfortable rooms and wonderful views to the old port. The staff were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for food, drinks and beaches too!
