Chania never gets old

Pros: Location, cleanliness and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Cons: Thou a great location the noise levels in the evening were a little annoying.

Pros: The location couldn’t be more perfect. The view of the port from the window is gorgeous! The room was cleaned every day and it was superb. The staff is amazing and very helpful.

Pros: An unforgettable stay! Our experience at Capitain Vasilis was absolutely amazing. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, whose hospitality and kindness made us feel right at home. A special thank you to Konstantina as well — she was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere of the hotel is charming and authentic, and the service is truly personal and thoughtful. It's rare to meet people who care so genuinely about their guests, and that made all the difference. Thank you again for such a beautiful experience — we will definitely come back!

Pros: Room was amazing. Lovely room and balcony with a great view. Really chilled laid back environment.

Cons: Staff were great but we didn't receive the door code to get into reception and there was nobody there.

Great value for money and proximity to the centre of the old town are real bonus points.

Pros: Captain Vasilis is an old building and room size flows the flows and contours of a few hundred years' standing. So, whereas the bedroom was kind of on the small size compared with modern build equivalents, the layout was charming in its authenticity

Pros: I so wanted the same room and I got it. The service was good and I want to come again next year. Thankyou very much.

Cons: I didn’t enjoy the tea. I prefer English breakfast tea bags and semi skimmed milk, not rich milk. Other than that everything was lovely.
