Horizon Villa Almyrida

We had a wonderful stay and we regret we didn’t book for a longer time.

Pros: A beautiful property, located at a walking distance from a cosy village with nice restaurants and clean sand beaches. Small supermarket, bakery and coffee shop very near. Rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped and beds are confortable. The big pool is definately a big plus. The owner is very helpful and service minded. We had a wonderful vacation and we highly recommend this villa even for a longer stay.

Exceptional Villa

Pros: We stayed as a family with 4 teens. Villa is by far the best we've stayed in. It was really well equipped, modern and comfortable with fantastic views and we were able to walk to both Almyrida (10 mins) and Kalyves (25 mins) (although a very steep walk down a track). Villa owner was incredibly kind and helpful and responded quickly when needed. The pool was perfect and the teens liked the gym equipment and table tennis. The coffee shop directly opposite was perfect for basics and breakfast pastries. We would return in a heartbeat.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. Others have mentioned the road alongside. This did not bother us at all. It wasn't noisy. The same with the resort opposite, which was very quiet and whilst we could see the odd person by their pool we didn't feel this was intrusive on our time in our pool at all.

Spacious house with beautiful view met all the needs for a multigenerational family holiday

Pros: Villa was well appointed, clean and spacious lounge area and bedrooms. Excellent facilities, everything a family required. Easy contact with the host. Beautiful views. Not too far to walk to local beach and town. Small coffee shop/mini market within 2 minutes walk

Cons: The uphill walk from the town!!

Lovely villa, great swimming pool, close to beach

Pros: Property was just as the pictures, 3 good size bedrooms all en-suite and air conditioning in each. Pool was a fabulous size and was the warmest we have had anywhere in Europe. Had good facilities for self catering and also a washing machine too which was helpful when travelling with little ones. There was water and wine in the fridge when we arrived which was appreciated. Not too far from beach and restaurants and there was a small mini market and cafe shop 1 min walk away.

Cons: A welcome pack with some local details and information about the property would have been useful. We didn’t know for example where the washing machine was located which is downstairs in the basement. Also we couldn’t find any dust pan to help clean up until the last day when this was found in a cupboard in the downstairs bedroom. Also some restaurant recommendations along with the above would have been useful to have in the welcome pack. Although the villa is close to the beach, going downhill is fine however for those elderly or have mobility challenges, it’s probably not an option to walk back up especially when the weather is hot. There is however a taxi company down at the beach and it’s €5 back to the villa. The communication with the host was somewhat delayed although when we had an issue with the air con he did get it fixed within a timely manner.

Pros: Nice modern interior with great bedrooms - all en-suite. Fabulous pool, BBQ area and lots of outdoor space.

Pros: The villa was excellent, large, so we all enough space (5 adults) clean and with all facilities. The pool was large, and the garden was well maintained. Short walk into town, with numerous fantastic restaurants. A great location for a family getaway, with no need for a car. Communication with the host was quick and efficient

Beautiful, modern villa in a great location

Pros: Beautiful Villa, super clean, modern, nicely decorated, great size pool, comfy beds and sun loungers, quiet, well equipped kitchen, good blinds -dark at night, short walk into Almyrida, great service from Emmanouil. Great to have washing facilities and a gym in the basement too. Only 5 euro in a taxi back in the evening. Almyrida is a fantastic location, the best restaurants and a lovely laid back feel..

Cons: We had some issues at first, but only I think due to the fact the villa had been empty, without a booking, prior to our arrival and there had been some works going on in the local area. Emmanouil was really responsive and worked hard to get it sorted quickly. We had no complaints after that. A welcome book/handbook would be really helpful too, so it makes it easier to work out what to do with bins etc

Pros: The villa was perfect for our family vacation. It had everything we needed. The house was comfortable, and the pool was great. We enjoyed the ping-pong table as well. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Cons: Nothing. Just pay attention that the front door locks automatically.

Pros: We loved everything. Communication was excellent. The villa was beautiful and we all thought the beds were the most comfortable ever. A wonderful holiday.

Cons: The villa was on a hill literally next to the road so had lots of traffic noice ,lorries and motorbikes going up the hill . when sitting on terrace or in the pool. we found it too noisy for us , .. no coffee for coffee machine on arrival 😢.. and totally over looked by a new resort that’s been built next to it , which isn’t in the pictures . It’s called Amour Relax Hotel .. so no privacy outside at all ..
