Danaos Hotel

Comfortable hotel in great location

Pros: We have stayed at the Danaos three times. It is in a great location, immediately opposite the Nea Chora beach. The rooms at the front have sea views, but we stayed in a cheaper room at the back. The balcony was a reasonable size, the bed comfortable, good air conditioning (at no extra cost) and a nice bathroom including a modern shower. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a nice bar at the front of the hotel which also serves food. The old Venetian Harbour and Chania old town are about a 15 minute walk away. We will certainly stay here again.

Amazing

Pros: The location is excellent, our room had a sea view and it was amazing! Staff was also kind and helpful. Very good value for the price!

Danaos is best for stay on Chanoa

Pros: Stuff was suuuper friendly ladies who did cleaning rooms was a fantastic they are great Ladies in receptions are very helpfull.Woman who working on breakfast very nice too. Location are just super fantastic before i left i was book room for my next year holiday so see you again.Love Chania Love Greece love Danaos Hotel team

Cons: The breakfast would be nice if will be more option to choose like greek salad or somwthing changes during the holiday on 2 weeks is nice to have sometimes changes and choices.But other that is great place for holoday

Perfect location for a comfortable stay.

Pros: Room cleanliness = outstanding. Location in front of the beach = fantastic. Restaurants, shops etc v close by = good. Fridge bigger than expected. All the staff were friendly, helpful, polite and spoke English! Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Bathroom a little small, but quite ok.

Pros: beach accross the road, breakfast continental very good, location loads of eating places, i had some very good meals at Woodstock

Pros: Hotel just across from beach and close to restaurants.

Cons: Having to pay for hotel sunbeds at 10 euro a day, a little steep.

Pros: beach is very close almost 10 meters. Location is not far from city center. A lot of markets, coffe shops around.

Cons: wifi was not secure - it was a public wifi without password with authorization from web page, which is bad in terms of security. if you are using this wi fi better use at least VPN

Pros: The owners and all the staff were so lovely and helpful with anything you may need, the location of the hotel is perfect it’s on the beach and a lovely stroll away from the old town, couldn’t of asked for a better stay we would definitely stay here again

Pros: Amazing, it's near one of the best Chania beaches. They have great breakfast for extra 8 euros. Also, there are many good authentic restaurants and city center just 15 minutes walking along the seashore. We had our room with sea view.
