Shalom Luxury Rooms Kondilaki

Pros: I liked everything. It's a wonderful place. Exceeded my expectations. The room is beautiful, tidy, and the place is perfect. Is 10 ⭐ I'll give 20⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I ever come back, it's definitely here!!

Pros: This is the second year in a row that we have stayed here and I think that says it all. Stella and her staff are fantastic, always smiling and willing to help. An exceptional place to stay, right in the heart of Chania Old Town. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Room service every day and bedding and towels changed every other day. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We will probably book again for next year, loved Shalom and Chania so much.

Cons: All was good. We stayed in room 4 which is at the top of the building accessed by quite steep stairs. Not a problem just need to be aware.

Superb value, location and host.

Pros: Perfect location, very clean and a very kind and helpful host Stella.

Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like, it was much more than we expected

A spot to come back to

Pros: Absolutely everything: the location, the cleanliness, the friendliness, everything was just on the spot! Special thanks to the owner Stella who responded immediately to our request for earlier check in because of the early flight and tight schedule as well as taking care of providing us even beach towels ☺️ We have already stayed there once early July and now again late August and would come back in future for sure!

A great place to stay in the heart of the old town

Pros: The accommodation is in the bustling Kondolaki Street, but despite the central location, the rooms were nice and quiet. The area is fantastic, just minutes away from waterfront and a with plenty of choice for great places to eat and drink, right on the doorstep. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned daily - with bedding a towels changed every other day. Beach towels were provided on request. Stella and her team were always on hand to help with any questions and guided us in when we initially got a bit lost having arrived from airport. We would definitely return again.

Small but fine room, would have been great apart from it being very noisy.

Pros: The cleaner was absolutely fantastic, we asked for some beach towels, they said they would be there at 9am and they were, on the dot!

Cons: Unfortunately the first night a drunken man was braying on the hotel diagonally opposite for 2 hours and the second night a dog in the alley was barking all night! I know this is beyond the hotels staff to do anything about but it did affect our sleep and stay!

A gem in the old town

Pros: The location is amazing, right on the city's vibe! The personnel responsible for cleaning was extremely polite and considerate 😊 We have already booked another stay in a month from now!

Pros: Gorgeous large room, well equipped and a fabulous walkin shower. Only drawback is the stairs (no lift) and the location in the old town which makes getting there problematic with luggage. Not cheap

Pros: Our Junior Suite was so lovely, great size & the balcony was a highlight. Location in the Old Town perfect for exploring.

Cons: Not so much a negative, just be aware that a taxi cannot drop you off at the front door as there are no cars allowed in the Old Town due to narrow(but beautiful) streets.

Would stay here again

Pros: Very central location, very comfortable and very helpful staff. Charming place, very quiet despite the central position

Cons: No lift could potentially be a problem for some people if you had heavy luggage.
