Good place to stay in Chania
Pros: Nice room in the lively area of Chania Old Town. Everything is in a walking distance. Good communication with the host. Nice small balcony. You have everything you might need in the room (fridge, water, coffee, hairdryer, etc). Nea Chora beach is 15-20 min away by walk.
Cons: Beds were a bit dry, but the owner said they're going to replace them by the next season (I stayed in September). Bare in mind, no lift, uncomfortable steps to go up.

Conveniently situated.
Pros: Breakfast on the balcony (kettle and fridge in the room) watching the kittens making their way from balcony to balcony. No buildings opposite the first floor and more or less invisible from the street so no need to get properly dressed first. If you are allergic to cats ask for a room on the front of the building, not the back! We had to gently repel the kitties when they tried to join us in the room. Central position.
Cons: Very steep stairs to access the hotel, not in the picturesque part of the old town (but only 2 minutes' walk from it).

Perfect place for my night in Chania: calm, comfy, old building, friendly, central.
Pros: I love that this used to be the British Embassy building in the 1920s! Although now subdivided up, there is still the feel of an elegant building and i loved the balcony and doors in my room. The owner is very friendly, I slept well and it’s v central for the old town and bus i needed to take the next day to my regular destination. Will definitely stay here again as I pass through Chania - really like it.
Cons: Saturday night Chania can be a bit loud at 1am. But i actually didnt mind the voices of young people having a good time! Better than traffic (none on this road) and it’s part of staying in a city. And the hotel itself was peaceful and calm.

Perfect accommodation !
Pros: Best accommodation that I had! The location was great ! Near the center, near the bus station, the location was perfect ! Also, the owner was so kind, she responded to all our questions ! I truly recommend this accommodation to everyone, best ever !

We had a brilliant holiday!
Pros: The location was amazing! Right in the heart of the old town and so full of character. Diporto was very helpful, and the apartment was immaculate and cleaned every day. Beach was very close, plenty of sunbeds, plenty of sand very relaxing! The people of Chania are absolutely lovely! Many places to eat all within close distance, although not a great deal of variety in the menus, they all tend to have very similar if not the same choices. However, the staff in the restaurants were brilliant and often very entertaining and the food was good! There were also a few small supermarkets for essentials and chemists if needed. There are also plenty of places to visit and trips to choose from. The Mermaid boat trip was great fun!
Cons: The apartment is on the small side, but this is I guess reflected in the price

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at Diporto Rooms. Everything was spotless…the hygiene and cleanliness really stood out. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I especially loved the balcony, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The location is also excellent, close to everything yet calm enough to feel peaceful. Highly recommended!

Pros: We loved how cute and quaint the place is. It is very central, very easy to find, great location for exploring Chania city centre and a very atmospheric old historic building! The complementary shower gel was lovely.
Cons: The shower couldn't be attached to anything on the wall to make it stay at a height. The room was on a second/third floor, hard to get up with a large suitcase and no lift. In both cases, the issue can be explained by the old building.

Pros: location is perfect in downtown, walking distance from bus terminal staff was very friendly room is simple, but clean and confy
