Vine Veranda

Pros: The people were super nice, Adonis gave us fresh grapes and his homemade spirit.

Cons: There is a church next to the apartment and on some days there was a mass with loud singing on speakers for multiple hours.

Pros: Very clean house Owners are kind and very friendly We felt very good Appreciated the comfort

Pros: The location was really nice, the view is stunning and we truly appreciated the kindness of the owner. The apartment is located close to the grandfather’s owne, a really nice men and very authentic! We had an amazing time at Vine Veranda, strongly recommended.

Cons: The WiFi signal was pretty low

A beautiful corner of Paradise

Pros: We booked our stay after reading all the positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. This small cabin is immersed in a beautiful garden just a few meters away from the beaches. From the window you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea; the small town of Paleochora, served with supermarkets, pharmacies and all the necessary, is just 10 mins away by car. But what struck us the most was the hospitality of Mr. Adonis, which provided us with plenty of fruit, veggies, olives and wine from his garden. He also invited us over a few times to join him for lunch or dinner and we enjoyed talking with him with the help of the translator. We couldn't ask for more from our host and leaving was not easy!! I feel like I left a piece of my heart in that beautiful corner of heaven. We hope to be back soon.

Pros: Vine veranda was idyllic and traditional place which has beautiful view to the sea. If you are looking to experience the real home feeling in Crete this is the place! The owner of this place was really friendly and warm. He even offered us fish for dinner that he caught from sea. We loved it so much and hope to go back there.

Excellent séjour, à renouveler sans soucis

Pros: Nous avons aimé ce logement indépendant chez l'habitant. Adonis et son petit fils nous ont accueilli merveilleusement. Ils nous ont fait de nombreux cadeaux : - fruits du jardin (figues, raisins, citron, ...) - vin - poissons péchés du jour et cuisinés juste pour nous. Ce logement au milieu du jardin est un havre de paix, idéal pour se ressourcer et à proximité de la mer et de Paleochora.

Pros: Appartamento vista mare, immerso nel verde dell'orto del signor Tony. Tony è molto gentile, invita tutti a cena per mangiare il pesce che lui pesca la mattina. Tanti gattini a tenerti compagnia!

Cons: Purtroppo Tony non parla inglese, ma ci si capisce usando Google translate. Materasso un po' duro e cuscini troppo morbidi.

Pros: Adorámos a hospitalidade do senhor Antonis que nos recebeu muito bem. Lugar simples, muito calmo, com vista para o quintal e para o mar, e que fica a uns escassos 5 minutos de Paleochora, de carro.

Exceptionnel, l'hôte est une personne formidable

Pros: Der liebenswerteste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Mit 85 Jahren pflegt er einen Selbstversorgergarten und verwöhnt seine Gäste mit frischem Obst und Gemüse. Am Wochenende wurde Fisch gefangen und dieser am Folgetag lecker aufgetischt. Mit Hilfe eines google-Übersetzers konnten wir uns prima verständigen. Adonis zeigte uns auch einen Teil der Insel und machte uns mit der griechischen Gastfreundschaft bekannt.

Cons: Das W-Lan-Netz befindet sich noch im Aufbau. Derzeit ist eine Einwahl nur über den Nachbarn möglich, der auch gerne zum Dolmetschen kommt. Ein großer Spiegel für die Kleiderprobe der Damen wäre eine Anschaffung wert. Der angepriesene Grill fehlte leider - die kosz´tengünstigen Restaurants in der Umgebung machten dies aber wett.
