Pros: Large comfortable unit. We'll equipped kitchenette. Great breakfast.

Cons: I always appreciate a safe in a room.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean and welcoming

Pros: We had a fantastic stay here and will definitely return next year. The apartments are beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fab, the Taverna next door was amazing, and the beach is one of the best in Crete, with lovely calm, clear water and not too many sunbeds. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The owners were very friendly and obviously take pride in offering a wonderful service. I wish we'd stayed longer than five days.

Cons: Only one pan in the kitchen makes it hard to cook a decent meal.

Wonderful hotel

Pros: Our staying experience was exceptional, really nice, modern, super clean room with amazing breakfast. 5 star 🌟 experience overall.

Cons: Nothing that we didn't like.

Pros: Couple staying a long period: The accomodation is located in a quite remote village with nice restaurants nearby (effectively 2 m walk), both a sand and a pebble beach nearby (also walking distance) where you can always find both a quiet spot as well as places with more people. At a 5m drive there is also a bigger city with lots of nice restaurants, bars, shops, a seafront as well as a bigger sand beach. The room itself is nice, modern, with a fridge, also a small set of kitchen tools as well as with a AC and windowblinds for dealing with the heat. The bathroom is also clean and looks modern. Cleaning is done once every 3 days. We also liked the attention to details of the host ( for eg, there was a hose at each room). The staff was really nice. The breakfast was great every morning with a wide varieties of options. We realized we preferred the mountain view room instead of the sea view one and the manager was kind enough to help us with the swap.

Cons: The accomodation is located right at the road, where on avg 20-30 cars pass each hour (probably less in the night). If you are sensitive to the traffic noise, you might want to pick a mountain view room. It’s not that bad, an average person would probably not notice it. Also for the room, a broom would have been nice to clean the extra sand from time to time. Perhaps, the host could have offered to give a set of umbrellas & other beach things (from the other visitors), as we left an umbrella at the end and my guess is we were not the first ones to leave stuff there. Also, some local information would have been nice (for example, we realized that sometimes if its really windy at Palaiochora, it could be really calm at the beach near the hotel because of the geography of the gulf / some info on the best spots & things to explore). For both of these things though, we also take blame as we did not ask.

We highly recommend this place

Pros: We stayed at the property with our 10-month-old. The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff had already set up a travel cot (with an extra mattress) for us. We also really enjoyed the garden. Finally, breakfast was nice, with plenty of sweet and savory options.

Pros: very nice and modern apartment with nice garden terace and kitchen. The area is nice and quit with beautiful small bay, some restaurants and small shop arround 800m (but by main road - with limited paths), the closes city is 4km

Cons: the mattress was so unconfortable to soft, to noisy during the night room was just next main street

Pros: We are family of 4. We stayed there for 4 nights, app No. 10. The room was nice and clean, around the building is lot of space, all around are trees nice garden. Our kids ( 5 Yo and 2 Yo ) loved it. The garden is surrounded with fence and walls, so it was safe to let them play outside. Close to the building are 3 restaurants and about 500m is shop. The beach is like 5 mins. The beach is nice and the water is clear and the beach was not flooded with people, since there is no big hotel around. Maybe the time we were visiting played it's role 😀Staff is great. Breakfast is very nice also.

Pros: Great breakfast- try the Cretan tea -really nice - lovely shower - very smart and well appointed - this is the new Greece / Crete - absolutely loved Mear - Thankyou Maria and all your staff

Cons: Wardrobe is a double sized one but it’s all hanging space - no other place for clothes - I would split it into 2 with shelves - it’s a small issue for such a lovely place

Pros: The host was really friendly, very clean rooms and well-prepared. The garden is super pretty and well taken care of.

Cons: I wouldn't say anything that I didn't like about the property. However, the area itself is more family oriented and it wasn't what I was looking for exactly, but if it's your type of vacation then you'll be happy!
