Nice old house in quiet village

Pros: A charming restored building in a quiet location. Very nice. The hosts were caring but not intrusive. We would like to recommend this place.

Cons: No major issues. No services in the village off-season except an occasionally open cafe and the taverna which was open at least Fri-Sat.

Best stay

Pros: The owners were incredible, very welcoming, looking after us in any possible way, talked to us in any free time. The garden and plants are taking breath. The atmosphere of this place was magic and place where can be truly felt of a Greek Old and New life style. The village is full of Greek history.

Cons: We didn't like the fact we had to leave this place and couldn't take it with us, plus the hosts.

Fantastic house in a picturesque and welcoming village.

Pros: Fantastic house in a picturesque and welcoming village. Traditionally decorated comprising all the amenities one needs. Wish we had planned to stay there longer. The host is very gracious, amicable and considerate. Mr. Manolis we very much appreciate your generosity and hospitality and we hope to see you again soon.

Warm and caring owners, traditional house. 3 toilets

Pros: This is our best experience in Greece! We will definitely come here when we visit Crete again. Very caring hosts, a beautiful house where there is privacy for each family member. 2 separate bedrooms, living room, 3 toilets. Ideal for families. The house is very beautiful, designed by the landlord in a traditional style. The owner helped us with all questions, the hostess prepared a wonderful treat. When our youngest child got sick, the owners provided a thermometer and offered medicine

A memorable experience in traditional Vafes!

Pros: Manolis was incredibly helpful and one of the sweetest and most accommodating hosts that we have ever met. Right from the time we reached there, he and his wife created a family-like atmosphere by hosting us at their home and bringing us traditional Greek food. We had a great traditional experience and it was a delight for us to share stories with Manolis and Eva.

Cons: There are many cats which can cause some commotion at night, but we did not find it too bothersome.

10 Days of Beauty, Calm and Quiet in a Lovely Traditional Stone House!

Pros: This is a cozy, beautiful, small stone house on two stories. The hosts were gracious and not only provided everything we might have needed but also wonderful treats every couple of days. We especially liked the several terraces, which provided wonderful, private spaces to sit and gaze at the village and mountains.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was great!
