Aphrodite Apartments

Pros: We are travelers who go to a different place every day. Every day a trip, a different beach, a different place (Samaria, Elafonisi, Balos). For us this is the ideal place. Marija and her parents are very pleasant and helpful, a smile and kindness at every opportunity. Everything is clean and the towels are changed every day. Parking is inside the building. A clean ten. Nearby is a gas station, car wash, supermarket and a few hundred meters away, restaurants... The sea is 200 meters from the guesthouse and the guesthouse also has a swimming pool. All in all, great...

Highly reccomend, it was a pleasure to stay there.

Pros: Very nice and clean apartment, equipped with all you may need. Coffie and tea as a welcome gift as well as bottle of wine and water in the fridge. Cleaning service, changing towels and sheets. Washing machine and iron available downstairs. Nice swimming pool, beautiful flowers in the garden, more than enough parking space. The owner, Maria, was very very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there. Close to the beach, shop and restaurants.

Cons: The only thing I’d change would be a double bed instead of two single beds

I recommend these apartments as we enjoyed staying. Maria is a very good host.

Pros: Within easy walking distance of: Beach, Tavernas, and supermarket, all within a couple of hundred yards. Kalyves also a short walk easily done in hot weather. The cleaning staff were excellent at their work. The apartment and pool area was well cleaned. The pool was excellent, and had good sunbeds with plenty of umbrellas. Most of all, I credit Maria and her parents for their welcome and attentiveness to our requirements. These are well run family-owned apartments that I recommend most highly. We WILL BE BACK.

Cons: Would have liked a sunshade on the balcony. Spoke with Maria and It was done within 20 min! :)

absolutely wonderful stay in a quiet location close to the beach

Pros: The room was spotless and the care package was a lovely thought. Maria the reception manager was super helpful and the room was kept clean and tidy by the staff. We would happily recommend the Aphrodite Apartments to anyone visiting Crete

Pros: Our stay in Kalives was truly enjoyable. The apartment was very pleasant – quiet, peaceful, with a nice, clean swimming pool and a beautiful sea view. The beach was just a short walk away, and although you have to cross the street, it was never a problem. The nearby beaches are really lovely and well maintained. The staff were extremely kind and helpful – Maria was fantastic 😊. Even after check-out, we were allowed to use the pool, and our luggage was stored safely until our late flight, which was a big convenience. The surroundings are calm and pleasant, with shops and restaurants just around the corner. Our windows faced the street, so we could hear some traffic, but it wasn’t disturbing at all. Rooms facing the pool are completely quiet. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again if we return to this part of Crete. 🌴😊

We had a fantastic stay at Aphrodite, the apartments were perfect.

Pros: Ideal location close to beach, supermarket and bus to Chania.

Cons: Nothing everything was great.

Pros: The apartment is located in a lovely, quiet village in Chania, just a short walk from the beach. There are several great restaurants and a supermarket within minutes, making it very convenient. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with towels replaced and cleaning done every two days. The shared pool was a nice bonus, and Maria, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Chania.

Fantastic stay at Aphrodite Apartments

Pros: We loved absolutely everything about the Apartment. From the moment of our arrival when we were greeted by the most wonderful host Maria to the moment of our departure we enjoyed our stay. The facilities, pool, washing / ironing room, spacious room with excellent Wi-fi. The cleanliness and immaculate housekeeping regime were of the very highest standard. Maria was always on hand to answer any questions we would ask . The location was ideal for us, just a few minutes walk to restaurants, beach and large supermarket. A flat ,easy 15 minutes walk into Kalyves and on the bus route to Chania.

Cons: Having to leave to return home

Pros: What a fabulous apartment in a wonderful Greek village. The beach is just across the road with a supermarket and bus stop outside the building. Maria couldn’t have been more helpful. She is a wonderful asset to this business.

Cons: Nothing not to like.
