Pros: Staff was excellent and attentive. View is beautiful.

Cons: the mattress was slightly too small (and we are not very big) and unfortunately uncomfortable (too bouncy, every move wakes the other)

Great location and house to stay in Crete

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this house. It’s beautifully maintained and surrounded by plenty of greenery, which made it feel very private and peaceful. The swimming pool area is quite big and seems to get sun all day, which was lovely. The staff was really warm and welcoming, and we absolutely loved the cake and drink waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment itself is very spacious, and staying downstairs near the bathroom area was convenient. I also appreciated the little touches like olive oil, sugar, and salt being available if we wanted to cook. Breakfast was good, with a mix of salads, pastries, bread, and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if the fruit were served as a platter rather than whole pieces, so it could be enjoyed alongside the yogurt more easily.

Cons: On the downside, the downstairs mattress was really uncomfortable. It was very firm and didn’t absorb movement well, so I could feel every toss and turn from my partner during the night. We originally decided to stay on the ground floor to avoid walking down the stairs at night to go to the bathroom. It wasn’t until the morning that I checked the mattress upstairs and realised it was way more comfortable than the one we slept on. I really wish both beds were the same quality. Another minor issue was the shower in the bathroom - the shower head wouldn’t stay in place and kept moving toward the open area, so we ended up holding it by hand during showers to avoid getting everything wet.

Pros: Stunning views, great pool, very helpful staff - Eleni and Dimitra - both do great job. Definitely would recommend this place

Beautiful!

Pros: We loved everything about this beautiful property. It’s so peaceful, the pool is amazing and so are the sunsets. We enjoyed a very warm welcome with fresh grapes and refreshments and the ladies here treated us so kindly and really made our stay wonderful.

Beautiful Kretan stay between the olive trees

Pros: Very nice acomodation, very tipical, between the olive trees. Very beautiful. All facilities was good, very nice and clean pool, and surrounding is very nice and green. Specialy Helena was very kind and she get us a lot very detaild information about everything. Very, very kind!

Pros: The location is superb. Swimming pool with view on the mountains, 15' drive to kissamos. The ladies that take care of the place are super friendly, you can ask them anything.

Cons: The kitchen was very basic. A coffee maker and a toaster would have been great.

A wonderful unique place with fabulous views and we would love to return for a longer stay.

Pros: We loved staying at Maria Villas, in such a transquil rural spot in the mountains but only a short drive to the north coast and about 30 mins from the beaches of Falassarna. The views were stunning especially from our terrace and the pool area. Breakfast was excellent, with plentiful fruit and pastries and varied cooked option each day. Our host Dimitra was so welcoming and helpful. We slept very well in the comfortable king size bed and our bedroom was a good size and with a large roof terrace. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore the surrounding countryside

Cons: We only have very minor criticism of our apartment's kitchen/living area as it was a little compact. Our large roof terrace made up for this and also we were outside most of the time and eating out in restaurants in local villages. Our spacious bathroom with shower over the bath would benefit from shelves near the wash hand basin.
