Villa Stafidaki

Pros: We have stayed in dozens of Villas in Crete over the last 20 years and this one rates as one of the best! Fantastic villa, great location, very private, lovely pool, very comfortable, very well equipped, the owners Maria and George were very welcoming, very helpful absolutely lovely, bedding, towels and villa was cleaned every couple of days, we will without any doubt go back again.

Perfect

Pros: Instructions to find the property were good and Maria and her son George were there to meet us. We had hired a car which we found useful as Stafidaki villa is at the top of a hill. The villa is on two levels, a bedroom with en suite at ground level and at the top of 13 outside steps is the main area with kitchen and a bedroom and separate bathroom. There are two patio areas where you can sit outside for meals and the pool. The property was spotless. Maria changed the linen twice during our week stay and George cleaned the outside area and also the pool. The coastal road runs at the bottom of the hill and beaches and supermarkets are nearby. A main road runs behind the villa so there is road noise but you can still hear the birds and cicadas. Three of us had a great week there and Maria and George were perfect hosts. I thoroughly recommend this as a lovely place to explore Crete.

Cons: There was nothing to complain about.

Pros: This place is amazing! It was very clean. The swimming pool was a good size, perfect for relaxing. We had a secure spot for our rental car behind the villa’s gate. The location was ideal, just a 10-15 minute walk to the local restaurants and sea. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming—our flight was delayed, but they patiently waited for us. We highly recommend this place!

Pros: The Villa was perfect. The pool was amazing and we had a very good time. Maria and her son George were very welcoming and they recommended places to visit from beaches to restaurants to markets. I loved the fact that we had privacy at the Villa and it was very clean.

Cons: Nothing to mention.

Pros: Absolutely stunning vila with all the necessary amenities, a fantastic garden and a private pool. Spotlessly clean, mid-stay cleaning and change of bedlinen and towels. We.loved every minute of our stay in this paradise in close proximity to Chania but not in the immediate chaos of that city.. The kindness of Maria and George is unmatched. Be sure to have a car.

Pros: The hosts & pool! Maria & George were extremely welcoming, they gave us good recommendations for places to visit and eat. The Villa was spotlessly clean, bedding and towels were changed during our stay The kids loved the pool. Thank you so much for the little gift!

Cons: The road noise …. but there’s nothing you can do about that!

Just what we wanted

Pros: The villa was perfect for my family’s needs. It was better than I expected from the pics. It was very well maintained, clean and modern. It had everything we needed. It was a little bit remote, which we liked, and not overlooked at all. It was easy enough to get to the beach, restaurants and only half hour drive from the airport. I recommend having a car for the most benefit. Maria and George are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. And they work very hard. I’m really thankful to them both for hosting us at their lovely villa.. thank you!!!! 😊

Pros: Casa splendida con giardino e piscina ben curati, posizione tattica, massima igiene e pulizia. Il punto forte però sono i proprietari Maria e George, due persone splendide, tanto gentili quanto disponibili! Con il senno di poi non avrei comunque potuto chiedere di meglio per le nostre vacanze, consigliatissimi!
