Pros: Location, aspect, inside and outside space and facilities. Well thought through management. Caring & helpful host.

Cons: A house manual to refer to throughout the stay would have been really helpful.

Absolutely perfect!!

Pros: The villa is beautiful, spacious and so super clean. The hosts were incredible. They had literally thought about everything.

Cons: There are no negative points about the villa. The walk from the village to the villa would be a challenge for someone with a physical disability.

Perfect private quiet little piece of Crete.

Pros: There was genuinely nothing we didn't like about this villa. It is perfect. Exactly as it looks and as described. The villa was clean, tidy and had everything we needed from a TV, games, books and DVDs to towels, pool towels and a washing machine. The kitchen was perfectly well equipped, the pool was fantastic and it was only a five minute walk down to the beach and restaurants and shops. The walk involves a slight couple of slopes on the way back but on a couple of occasions with shopping we simply asked the restaurant for a taxi and it was around five euros. The owners of the villa were also very kind and helpful both in communication before the holiday and for whatever we needed when we were there. Jason even took us to the supermarket when we first arrived to get some bulk supplies in. I really would stay here again. Kalyves is a perfect little Greek village for a week's switch off and your own peaceful oasis at the villa by the pool.

Superb villa in a great location.

Pros: This villa is superb - clean, spacious, great location and incredibly well equipped. We were a family of 4, so able to spread ourselves between the rooms, but this would be an ideal property for two families to share. It is located in a quiet area of the village so you can enjoy the gorgeous pool and outdoor space in a very peaceful location, but it is only a 7 minute walk down to the village where there are plenty of lovely tavernas to eat at in the evenings. Jason and Gail were very welcoming to their villa and even though they live in the basement below, you will only see them for the occasional hello. Jason was incredibly helpful giving us a lift to the local supermarket when we arrived. If, like me, you are guided by reviews when choosing a property, do not be put off by the fact that this only has a couple of reviews!! I really don't understand why this is? We took a punt on it and it is probably one of the best villas we have ever stayed in.

Cons: Nothing could have been better - it was all excellent.

Fantastik vistelse i Argo Villa

Pros: Fantastiskt hus och värdar. Varmt att rekommendera. Vi åker gärna tillbaka. Stora utrymmen, full utrustad kök, bra sovrum, bra badrum. Vi saknade inte en sak! Fantastisk pool område. Underbara utomhus matplatser. Nära till byn (gångavstånd) där det finns bageri, köttaffär, mat affärer caféer, restauranger och små butiker. Lugnt område. Gångavstånd till fina stränder med trevliga restauranger Om man har bil, finns det bra parkeringsplats vid huset.

Cons: Det finns ingen luftkonditionering men fanns fläktar överallt (både i taket och ordentliga stående) och stora möjligheter till korsdrag så vi hade inga problem med det.
