Very comfortable house, excellent location, friendly host

Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped house and excellent location for exploring Chania and NW coast. Host was very welcoming and brought food gifts on many of the days of our stay

Pros: We stayed for a month in Aptera and are very happy we chose this place. The host, Maria, lives next door and was incredibly kind and responsive to all our requests – she quickly helped with anything we needed and even treated us to delicious homemade Cretan dishes. The house has private parking in the yard, and the location is excellent: just 10 minutes to Chania and 10 minutes to the beach by car. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and taking walks. The ancient ruins of Aptera are within walking distance and offer stunning views of the mountains. This was a truly comfortable and memorable stay, and we would love to come back. Highly recommended – especially for those planning a longer visit to Crete!

Maria is great host she was always available and even gave us a cake and traditional chees treats

Pros: Home was very spacious with everything that was needed during our stay. Maria was always available and helpful if we need something. There was beautiful view from terrace where we ate breakfast.

Pros: House with amazing views to mountains and sea. 2 balconies + 2 terraces + roof terrace on top that. Very inspiring area to walk around. Good beach 7 min drive Outstanding hospitality from host Maria with welcome cake and may other delicious gifts. We really enjoyed that one side of house is facing the sun - gives warmth and light in November. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. All house was extremely clean.

Cons: Bed mattresses were hard to our taste but this is just the question of taste.

Cons: There was not enough warm water, especially in the evenings and in the mornings.

Dream home

Pros: The location is amazing, the views are spectacular, beds are really confortable and last but not least the best orange cake we have ever tasted from the wonderful neighbour Maria.

Pros: Maria, the neighboor taking care of the guests is AMAZING. She made us a cake for our arrival, brought us local sweets, was present for any questions we had! The house had everything one could need for an extended stay, it was spacious, mutliple terraces. The location had amazing views but you have to make sure to have a car, otherwise transportation could be an issue? We just adored our stay, and would def return. The owners were easily reachable via whatsapp or via the booking app if needed

Pros: Wonderful village with a great view upon Souda bay, 10 min from the seaside by car, great spacious house fully equipped for a long term stay. Special thanks to our hosts for staying up late to welcome us upon arrival and for their delicious welcome cake!

Calm, beautiful views and well equipped.

Pros: The house was situated in a quiet village in the hills. There was a roof-top terrace with stunning views. Our hosts had made a cake on our arrival, had put water and drinks in the fridge and gave us a homegrown water melon during the week. There were three lovely tavernas a 10-minute walk from the house.

Cons: A car was necessary.
