Excellent Value for Money

Pros: For what you get — clean rooms, a pool area, helpful service and great location — this place is excellent value. Everything was comfortable and enjoyable, and it felt like a true Greek experience.

Pros: We chose this place for its convenient location near the airport and beautiful beaches, and it didn’t disappoint. The room was bright and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast us a great start to our day, and the staff were always cheerful and helpful — even arranging a taxi for us when we wanted to go into Chania.

Helpful Staff and Nice Rooms

Pros: The staff here were very helpful and friendly from check-in to check-out, which made our stay pleasant. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities we needed. The hotel is great for overnight stays, but a bit quiet if you want to explore without a car.

Pleasant Stay with Minor Downsides

Pros: We liked the location — close to the airport and easy to find — and the pool area was a nice place to relax after travel. The suite was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine but could use more variety, and the overall vibe was more functional than luxurious.

Beautiful Pool and Garden Area

Pros: The pool and garden area were highlights of our stay. It was so nice to relax by the water in the evening with a drink from the snack bar. The surroundings were quiet and very pleasant.

Perfect for Short Stays or Layovers

Pros: We stayed here as a stopover before our early morning flight, and it was perfect — comfortable room, close to the airport, and the staff made check-in easy. They even provided helpful tips for local transport.

Perfect for Relaxation and Exploring

Pros: I enjoyed my stay here so much — the suite was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The outdoor pool and garden were lovely places to unwind after exploring Chania and the nearby beaches. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with recommendations.

Pros: Very clean, very cosy and comfortable room. It was our second stay at Areti and we would come again if possible. Near the airport but also relatively calm. The host family is very friendly and welcoming, they give you lots of information and tipps. We left at 4 a.m. and received a prepared picknic bag! We can highly recommend this accommodation!

Pros: Nice people at reception, even offered a lunch bag because of early checkout.

Cons: The light of the emergency exit is is very bright and directly pointing to the bed. Not good for sleepers who need a pitch dark room.
