Pros: We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it. The hotel is right next to the beach and within walking distance to everything in Palaiochora. The room was very clean, spacious, and had a lovely balcony. Emanuela was an amazing host — she welcomed us warmly and even let us drop off our luggage earlier than the standard check-in time, which was very convenient. Highly recommended!

Pros: We just returned from a wonderful holiday in Paleochora, Crete, where we stayed at Filoxenia apartments. From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness – we truly felt like part of the family. The apartment had everything we needed and made us feel completely at home. It was spacious enough for 2 adults and our 3 older children, with plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The rooms were clean, bright, and well-equipped. Housekeeping was done daily, and they changed our sheets and towels every 2 days – something that made our stay even more comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay in Crete with a host who treats you like a dear guest rather than a tourist, Filoxenia is the perfect choice. Thank you for a memorable stay – we will definitely return!

A little cozy and quite studio close the beach

Pros: A beautiful little apartment two minutes walking away from the beach.. the bed, the kitcken, the balcony are so cozy. In the night there is silence. The hosts are smiley, friendly and really helpful.

Cons: The WiFi sometimes required time to connect, but this was not a direct failure of the host.

Excellent choice, would certainly come back

Pros: The location 50m from a beautiful beach, free parking, superclean, extremely helpful and friendly staff, free cold water at the hallway, external shower for the guests returning from the sandy beach.

Cons: The sun was kind of invading in the morning. There was no TV. The balcony dividers between the rooms were too low, no privace at the balcony.
