Little gem, perfect to explore the history, culture and wilderness of Western Crete

Pros: The location to explore West Crete on day trips with reasonable driving distance Attentive owner offering great hospitality The quiet location The communal area of the patio, cozy with a view, and the pantry, to get coffee, ice cubes and light yet well equipped kitchen area Room equipment and amenities Close the town centre that provides access to supermarket, restaurants, bakery and shops Easy acces from Chania and main roads The owner has curated a mini guide with a list of restaurants/bars and places of interests that proved highly valuable.

Cons: two-floor layout may not be suitable for limited mobility individuals access through a small road

Pros: Everything was incredible. The owners treated us well and gave us advice, always right on the mark. Highly recommended, and if I return to Crete, I'll definitely come back.

Perfect starting point for sightseeings in Western Crete.

Pros: Really excellent hosts and facilities! Small but stylish rooms, practical kitchenette with everything needed available. Village beach with taverns 10-15 min by foot. For us it was perfect starting point for all sightseeings in the western part of Crete.

Pros: A charming place! Located in a peaceful village, halfway between Kissamos and the center of Chania, this spot is a true corner of paradise. The rooms are spotless, meticulously maintained, and the outdoor jacuzzi lighting up the garden creates a relaxing and magical atmosphere — perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. It was one of the best vacations we've ever had, thanks in large part to the extraordinary hospitality of Emilio and his partner. From the moment we arrived, Emilio welcomed us with great kindness, providing us with a personalized guide full of helpful tips to discover the best of this area of Crete. Always present, available, and incredibly friendly, he made every moment perfect. Thanks to him, we never had to worry about planning anything: he always had suggestions ready on what to see, where to eat, or where to relax. Don’t miss his fast food place in Rethymno, Vibe — home to one of the best smash burgers in town!

Beautiful rooms for a super relaxed stay close to amazing views and beaches

Pros: Emilio and Amanda are amazing hosts. They are super friendly and explain everything well. The Kamares Sanctuaries are in a quiet place close to a church where you can park your car. Once you get inside you get a peaceful area where you relax in a seat or in the water. The rooms itself are modern set up (Cosy beds, sofa, modern rainshower, black toilet, lots of usb plugs, refrigerator, soaps, towels for both the outside water thing as the showers, bathrobe, wifi everywhere and a TV). From the area you're in walking distance to breakfast or lunch or dinner places and the closest beach. If you're adventurous like us then there are lots of less touristic, but super beautiful beaches at 15 minutes-30 minutes driving). It's around 35 mins to the Chania airport.

Cons: Nothing is bad at this accommodation.

Pros: It’s very quiet, the location is tranquil and good to disconnect. Emilio are host was absolutely fantastic, very helpful, really welcoming and super knowledgeable, as was his wife

Excellent Hosts and Convenient Location for a Perfect Stay

Pros: Very friendly owners Emilio and Amanda - provided great guidance prior to arrival, such that finding the property was no problem and also gave advices for trips to best enjoy our stay - Property and location was also great, you can reach alot of places conveniently by car. 10/10 would recommend!

Pros: The location is perfect for all beaches to the west side of Chania and it is close to the main city. Our house was very cozy, modernly decorated, well designed and very clean. It is located in a very nice complex and a short distance from all the shops and amenities of the village. What exceeded all expectations however, were the hosts, who apart from being fantastic guys, had the best suggestions and really enhanced our holiday. It is definitely worth staying at the lodge and we will definitely for whatever reason if we come to Crete we will choose it again!
