Faro Apartments

Pros: this was our best accommodation during our Crete visit - it was spacious, well equipped (from milk frother to washing machine), comfortable and the location is hard to beat the host was very helpful, breakfast was excellent - fresh, local, plentiful and you could ask for what you want you are in the very center of Chania, parking place is about 5-7 minute walk which was very convenient

Cons: it's a large open space, lighting situation is a bit chaotic but in the end it works well and compared to the standard in Crete it was very good wifi worked fine but was not perfect it would be convenient to have some night light and a socket close to night table

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay in Old Town Chania.

Pros: The location of the apartment was brilliant, central to all the Old Town shops, restaurants and historical features. The Host was exceptional, breakfast was brought to the apartment every morning at the time you requested, and your choice of food. A very relaxing week in Old Town Chania.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike about this trip.

Pros: Right in the heart of the city, with an incredible view of the old town and the sea. The balcony stays in the shade all day except during sunrise, which makes it wonderfully comfortable. Excellent parking just 5 minutes away. The host thought of everything 🥰 — special thanks! Always available, attentive to every detail, yet incredibly discreet at the same time! The apartment itself is spacious and fully equipped — a perfect mix of the charm of the old town with the comforts of modern living. And the breakfasts deserve a special mention 😍

Pros: The apartment is beautiful and comfortable, perfectly located right in the heart of the old town, with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea and the Venetian harbor. The bed is large and cozy, and the apartment is clean and stylishly decorated. Breakfast is excellent and customizable to your preferences. A major advantage is the private parking nearby, which is especially convenient since the apartment is in a pedestrian zone. We’re especially grateful to the hosts, who were incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure we had an unforgettable stay in Chania. We’re definitly coming back.

Pros: Everything was perfect 😊 In the center, with a perfect view of the port off Chania. It was amazing. The apartment was so perfect, and the owner, Rafael so kind with us. He take a very very good care off his visitor… The perfect place to visit chania….

Pros: This is a great apartment with lovely views over the main square and lighthouse. The balcony is great, shade in the midday sun, which makes it lovely for a cold beer in the shade. You are blessed with many restaurants in a minutes walk, all selling good fresh food. Chania is a beautiful town with many narrow streets. The hospitality of Raphael, the own is 5 stars, delivered us breakfast every morning of fresh pastries and fruit. This really is a great place, and we will be back.

Exceptional Stay at Faro Apartments – Highly Recommended! Rating: 10/10

Pros: We had an amazing stay at Faro Apartments in Chania. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The location couldn’t be better—just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbor, yet quiet enough at night to get a good night's sleep. We especially loved the balcony with its beautiful views—perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The host was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always available if we had questions or needed anything. Rafa gave us great tips for restaurants and local sights that made our trip even more special. We would 100% recommend Faro Apartments to anyone visiting Chania and we’re already planning our next stay!

Perfect location

Pros: Location, the view from balcony, private parking not far by walk, breakfast brought to the door, host responsiveness. Very well equipped flat

Cons: Noise from the street as there are bars and restaurants. Not much can be done by the host but important to know if you wish to sleep prior midnight/1am.

Pros: The position and view. Shops and restaurants all nearby.
