G&M Luxury Residence with pool

Great property for family of 4 / 5 or 6 members travelling

Pros: We loved the hospitality and the host. The cleaning crew kept the property very clean. Stacked us with surprise supply. As we were travelling with family members we liked cooking meals at the property. So, appliances were super easy to operate and we loved our stay!

Cons: The master bed room bathroom wall is all glass. We would appreciate a curtain for some privacy :)

Really excellent and pleasent

Pros: Location is superb. House has all facilities and pool and garden. The hosts welcomed with a nice cake and prepared nice desert before we left the place. Kids loved it very much.

Cons: Small maintenance issues but hosts have acknowledged.

Pros: Just like the photos. Charming apartment with private pool. + Super-safe for kids as there is no access from the road to the pool (only access through the 2 of the bedrooms). + Maria was adorable. We arrived quite late and she welcomed us with a homemade cake and a bottle of wine and local olive oil. She put everything we needed in easy access. She had prepared the crib for the baby and even put a stroller for us in case we needed one extra. + The spot was nice as we could go on foot to the city but still find a parking place in the 50m from the apartment.

Cons: Only thing to mention is that there is no wheelchair access as there are 3 steps to the app. But that was no problem for us.

Pros: We loved our stay at Maria’s apartment. The location was fantastic, we opted not to hire a car and didn’t need one. The food Maria left us (and made for us) was very welcome. We will be back!

Modern and clean apartment, close to the city centre with added extras to make your stay even better

Pros: Lovely Apartment which was modern with lovely decor, comfortable beds and excellent facilities. Maria, the host, who lives in the apartment above had thought of everything to make your stay even better-- from welcome beers, bread and meets to fresh coffee and milk. The apartment is close to Chania city centre and there are plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. Excellent value for money and would recommend the stay for families and couples, alike.

Cons: The only area for improvement are the outside loungers which are not very comfortable for lounging outside on, in the sun, for long periods of time.

Perfect place to stay in Chania

Pros: Accommodation was excellent especially as ground floor apartment came with garden and private pool.

Beautiful apartment with pool

Pros: We loved the whole apartment. It was clean and tastefully decorated. Maria was a wonderful host and left us snacks, drinks and a homemade cake that we all appreciated, especially my son! We spent a lot of time in the beautiful back garden during the day, my son loved the pool and we were able to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The apartment is around 25 min walk to the harbour, where you have a choice of lots of restaurants, and there are also shops and cafes nearby as well. We would definitely return.

Great residence at Chania

Pros: They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check-in early at like 06am. We got to residence super early with my wife and 4 kids, and Mrs Maria allowed us to check-in. This was a big plus and made our life easier. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and felt like home. Parking was easy to find next to the residence, and all shops supermarket and tavens were easy to reach. They went over and beyond to help and make our stay enjoyable sevice was exceptional. We had a wonderful experience at G&M. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Chania. Thank you very much for everything, Mrs Maria we definitely will visit you again.

Cons: Everything was exceptional. Regarding weather conditions, the use of swimming pool wasn't possible. But the backyard with the swimming pool was great.

Relaxing stay in Chania

Pros: The host was very friendly and nice. The apartment was bright and spacious. There was a parking space for the car right next to the apartment and a small shop was 50m away.

Cons: It is some distance from the apartment to the center and the beach. The swimming pool is not heated. The apartment is nice, but there are a few excesses in the interior.

Fabulous stay in an excellent apartment with pool and a great host

Pros: The apartment was absolutely lovely. The bedrooms were large and airy one had an en-suite a nice kitchen dining and living area where there was everything you needed. We spent a lot of time outside where there was a lovely pool and lots of comfy furniture. Everywhere inside and out was immaculately clean. Maria the host made us a very tasty cake and left us food and drinks in the fridge for when we arrived. We could WhatsApp her anytime and she would come back very quickly with any questions or suggestions where to go. We couldn’t have wished for a better apartment or host to make such an enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back again and also recommend to other people. There were no negatives.
