Lovely hotel, great location but breakfast needs more attention.

Pros: The room was very nice and the balcony leading onto a pool was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location and access to the beach was great.

Cons: The quality of food available for breakfast was very poor and did not look fresh. I noted there were no fresh juices. It was out of a machine and there wasn't much fresh fruit available. The coffee available from the self service coffee machine was awful. We paid for breakfast as part of our booking but it was so bad we decided not to avail of the breakfast for the remainder of our stay.

Pros: Beach and restaurant was excellent...service was very good as was the cleaniless.

Cons: Our room was too close to road but were very kindly moved further away. The air conditioning was set at 24° and could not be lowered.

One of the best hotels

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Marika Hotel. Perfect for families with kids and location not that far from Chania Town and from Kissamos port, 30-40 minute drive away. Surrounded by various shops and restaurants. Abundant delicious breakfast. Super clean. Large pools.

Exceptional

Pros: The apartment had easy access to the hotel and beach. It was well equipped and the house keeping team kept it clean and fresh each day. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar/ restaurant staff made us feel like one of the familiy. They chatted to us daily. Matios's team in the bar were excephtional. The different areas were exceptionally well run. The beach access was perfect. Everywhere was sparkling clean with some very pretty flowers bordering the paths and in window boxes.

Cons: There was nothing to complain about.

Sunrise suite was absolutely fantastic!!

Pros: We treated ourselves to the sunrise suite and it was superb. The view was incredible. So close to the sea. Loved the private pool and comfy loungers. And the suite looked brand new. Spotless and extremely comfortable. Couldn’t fault anything. Didn’t want to leave!

Cons: Breakfast was a bit uninspiring. Didn’t love the restaurant either. The staff didn’t seem particularly welcoming.

Pros: We had an unforgettable stay at Marika Hotel in Crete! Our room was absolutely incredible – it even had a private pool that we could step into directly from the bedroom, which felt so special. Marikas' team left for us bottle of wine with welcoming wishes 🥰 thank you very much, the wine was just great! The location of the hotel is perfect, close to everything while still feeling peaceful. Breakfast by the sea was another highlight – delicious food with the beautiful view.
