Perfect stay

Pros: Fantastic place, super friendly owner, close to sea, not expensive, great value for money

Cons: Everything was oerfect

The owner does a lot (lost glasses on the transfer bus found, phoning for a car to rent) for their guests.

Pros: Friendly staff from check in to departure, smiles were natural and welcoming. Room was great - we went for a superior studio, small difference in price, but worth it. Comfy, clean, great sized fridge and cupboards to enable own catering (stove top, kettle, coffee maker, toaster in room). Bdlcony was good size, and had a small clothes airer to use. Great location - one street back from the main road but quiet. Lovely swimming pool to relax at, and pool bar/cafe.... Cleaning staff were excellent - rooms cleaned, rubbish removed, towels and sheets changed as per schedule... A relaxing place to stay, great location, and great hosts & staff.... we intend to return...

Pros: Very clean, great room and very friendly staff. Dimitris and his family were very welcoming and went above and beyond. Fantastic breakfast and great facilities and in a great location. I will certainly be returning.

Pros: Property is very well maintained and has all you need. Comfortable clean rooms and a lovely little pool. Great little snack bar serving good quality food at a reasonable price. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, we had a fabulous week.

A little gem!

Pros: What a little gem, just tucked back off the main strip, a very short walk to the beach- perfect location. Dimitris the manager, his mum and all his staff are the perfect hosts- so friendly and go over and beyond. Room spotless, cleaned every day except Sunday, towels changed every other day, bed linen twice a week. Kingsize comfy bed. Lovely fresh white soft towels and nice white crisp fresh linen. Lovely pool area with comfy sun beds and umbrellas. The perfect small and friendly traditional style Greek hotel.

Friendly staff and great value for money

Pros: Perfect location, close to many great restaurants. Extremely friendly staff who went above and beyond for us. We had a late flight and the staff let us stay and use the pool all day, as well as booking us a taxi to Chania. The room and balcony are very spacious and the aircon worked very well. My girlfriend and I had the best time and would highly recommend!

Cons: As other reviewers have noted, it would have been great to have washing up liquid and a sponge provided along with the kitchen unit. However, it did not impact on our stay at all.

Great stay for reasonable price

Pros: The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Room was equipped with air conditioning, had a balcony and sufficiently equipped small kitchen. There is a pool available for guests, as well as a bar by the pool offering drinks and meals for reasonable prices. The location is more or less the center of Platanias. The personel running the hotel is very helpful and communicative. Also, the place is pretty quiet since it’s not located directly by the main road.

Cons: The bed was too soft but that’s a personal preference. Also, the water in the pool was extremely cold which is problematic on colder or windy days. Other than that no issues.

Perfect greek experience! Totally recomand!

Pros: One of the best Hotel value for money in Platanias, the room's are big with a little kitchenette witch is perfect, extremly clean ( towels,beds ), good location if you have rented a car from Chania, you only need to drive 30/40 minutes to the best beach's around Crete. A/C works perfectly,bath has everything you need,bed is comfotable,balcony is big with nice view,fridge is huge. I totally recommand this!

Cons: TV is too small to watch something, but you don't even need it because is all in greek.

Pros: We spent three fantastic weeks here in July as a couple, and our experience couldn’t have been better! The location is absolutely perfect — just steps away from the sea and right next to the main street with plenty of shops and grocery stores. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always making us feel at home. Our room was spotless, with frequent cleaning and fresh towels that added to the comfort. We also loved the hotel’s cozy little library — such a charming touch! Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we would love to come back again!
