Mylos Hotel Apartments

My happy place!

Pros: Mylos is a very nice hotel. Perfectly located bye the ocean. Close to the center and the bus just up the road. Marilena is a fantastic host! Always taking care off you in the best off ways and with a big smile on her face. She makes you feel at home. Apartments very clean and fresh. Been living there 4 times now and will go back again next year.

The perfect place

Pros: The place is wide, comfortable and clear, the bed was big and the mattress was perfect. The terrace was lovely 😍 the bathroom was big and complete. The place was cleaned every day and the workers were lovely and attentive. In a world everything was perfect!

Cons: Well, to say something I can suggest putting a shelf in the bathroom to have more space for organising the beauty stuffs

Spacious, Well-Located Apartment with Friendly Host, but Afternoon Beach Bar Noise

Pros: The apartment was spacious, bright, and well-equipped, with a lovely balcony that made it easy to enjoy the warm weather. The location was excellent – everything you need is within walking distance, including a large supermarket just around the corner, restaurants, cafes, and the beach. The apartment had all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions and provide useful tips about the area. Overall, the apartment and location are great, and with the exception of the afternoon noise, it offers a very comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area.

Cons: However, one important thing to note is that there is daily noise from a nearby beach bar between approximately 14:00 and 19:00. On some days, the volume was extremely loud, making it impossible to relax on the balcony during those hours, and it could even be heard clearly on the beach. If you plan to be out and about during the afternoon, this might not be an issue, but for those who enjoy spending time at the apartment in the afternoons, it can be very disruptive. Had we known about this, we would not have booked the apartment.

Pros: The Place is really nice, near the Sea. We had the beds on the beach included in the reservation. The room was Always clean, with the air conditioning, an incredibile weather. All It's perfect here.

Pros: Nice stay, very close to the beach and the main attractions/shops/restaurants in Platanias. Room very large and confortable with a fantastic shower in the bathroom. The receptionist Marilena is very kind and always at your disposal for each kind of problem.

A good acomodation in the centre.

Pros: It is right next to the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Room was big and had all you need. Comfortable bed, different pillows, well-kept kitchenware (looks like new). The staff is amazing, helping us to get the best stay possible. Felt like a 5-star hotel concierge. Location is good, right on the beach. I was in the room at the top, and had decent view of the sea.

Cons: It is not like something I didn't like necessarily. The pool is a beach club, so it can be busy sometimes. But it's a nice pool, clean water with bar service (though on the expensive side compared to the rest of the island).

I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you to the Mylos staff for 2 wonderful weeks. See you soon again.

Pros: I just spent 2 weeks here at Mylos Hotel. I loved it. ❣️ Close to the beach were you have free sunbeds. Supermarkets, restaurants just around the corner. And the bus to Chania and other places, stops at the street. The rooms are very nice. It has everything you need. And the balcony is very big. Amazing. The girl in the reception is so very nice and helpful. I will come back again in September. Already booked.

Pros: Mylos hotel is in the central part of Platanias, close to restaurants, supermarkets and, in particular, it is connected with a truly excellent equipped beach. The apartment was absolutely nice, but what really makes the difference at Mylos Hotel is its receptionist Maria. She is a young, very professional employee, always ready to satisfy any type of request in a very short time and always with a smile on her face. I have no doubt that, if I were to return to Crete in the future, I will choose Mylos hotel again, hoping to find Maria too.

Comfortable accommodation. Very central for shops and restaurants. Almost on the beach.

Pros: The location was great. Almost on the beach. Use of a lovely pool and sunbeds. The room was kept very clean and towels and bins changed every day. The staff we met were extremely polite and friendly.

Cons: The toilet in our bathroom leaked and the bathroom floor was wet every day. there was no plug for the kitchen sink to was anything properly and no hot water to the bathroom sink so hubby had to boil kettle for hot water to shave.
