Karmi Apartments

Excellent, very clean apartment, relaxing atmosphere

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Karmi, the owner and staff are very friendly and nice, and the apartments are perfect for a relaxing stay, we were looking for some peace and quite and we found it here. The apartment has everything you may need and is very clean, and we could see the sea from the balcony. The pool was quiet and not crowded at all (at least in September, not sure if this is different in August). The positions is good, near some local shops, restaurants and pharmacies, and with a few beaches just around the corner. Plus, at 1/1:30 h from Balos and Samaria Gorge which we visited when there. Overall very pleased with our experience at Karmi and woul definitely recommend, excellent value for money

Lovely place to stay.

Pros: Loved this apartment. Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Facilities great. Aircon bang on. Nice Pool. Perfect location for me, 10 min walk in to town. Simple easy access to beaches. Will be back.

Cons: All good.

Pros: Very nice studio apartment with fully equipped kitchenette, clean and nice owner. Nice pool with deckchairs. Free onsite parking.

Over all, good price for the money and totally worth staying!

Pros: - Very close to the center of Kolymvari and on 20minutes car ride to Chania. Also it was on pretty good location to all the famous beaches worth visit. - You have parking space provided. - The swimming pool was a good bonus. - We had new, clean towels everyday. - You have close supermarket and tavernas.

Cons: I would not list it like dislike, but it would be nice if there were bathroom curtains, because on every bath we took, the whole toilet was covered with water😆

Pros: Thank you karmi for a very memorable stay. The apartment was immaculately clean , with beautiful pool and breakfast facilities for a small charge. The apartment complex was so quiet at night , which was perfect for me. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe. There was always a member of staff on site. The location was perfect , with the choice of supermarkets close by. The Village of Kolymvari & beach were within walking distance, or you could take the bus , bus stop was across the road, with buses running frequently. I look forward to making many more returns to Karmi Apartments. 😊 Thank you Karmi Báirbre Ireland 🇮🇪

Pros: The pool was definitely such a nice bonus. Rooms were huge and clean, AC worked perfectly. The service was very kind and helpful. So nice! Would stay here again.

Pros: Friendly small complex. Good facilities for short break with family. Great location to use as a base to visit the area.

Pros: Free wifi working in the room, FRIDGE with small REFRIGIRATOR, very close to the beach, near to the shops when you could buy what you like, POOL at the place <3 open from 10:00 (10 am) to 20:00 (8 pm). Air-conditioning at the room ❤️ We have stayed one extra night and the landlord was very helpful and charged us very little for the extra night 😉 Great location for seeing the west side od the Crete, you nearly have to pass the hotel location to go anywere on this side of the Crete (Falassarna, Balos, Elafonnisi). Higly recommended 😄

Pros: Lovely quiet location with easy to reach platanias and chania only a bus/taxi ride away. Spotlessly clean and very helpful and friendly staff

Peaceful and relaxing

Pros: We stayed in what appears to be the newer single storey build. The bed was so comfortable, lovely clean white sheets. Kitchen area was spotless, I imagine the cupboards are cleaned out after every stay, washing up liquid and a sponge were provided. Chopping board, sharp knives, cutlery, kettle etc all provided and spotlessly clean. A hairdryer was also provided. Washing up bowl in bathroom to rinse clothes out in. Excellent location, bakery for fresh bread in the morning was a two minute walk. Supermarkets within a few minute walk. Bus stops near by. Walking distance to Kolimbari or Tavronitis. We had a late flight and were allowed to keep the room on rather than vacate in the morning.

Cons: Not that there was anything we 'didn't like' but they seem to be missing out on potential money making options. There are no poolside drinks or snacks provided, although there does appear to be a catering area with tables and chairs on a terrace. Although to be fair, the majority of guests do appear to be using it as a base to explore from. We were the only people around the pool the majority of the time.
