Villa Nimertis

Such a wonderful place to stay.

Pros: We have had the most wonderful 2 week stay. Everything about our stay in the villa was superb. We arrived late at night and Eva was there to welcome us and give us excellent recommendations for days out and places to eat. The villa was clean, comfortable and spacious for our needs. It has everything you need to for a short or long stay. The pool and garden area is where we spent most of our time. The views are spectacular with amazing sun rise and sun sets. You need a car but everything is within a short drive. Thank you Eva for an amazing stay and we would definitely return in the future. You made our stay just perfect.

Cons: Nothing not to dislike. All perfect.

Excellent house with pool to explore western Crete.

Pros: Great house is superb location with uninterrupted views of the rolling hills with snow-capped mountains behind on one side and the sea on the other. Three good bedrooms - ideal for our party of two couples and two children. Good size swimming pool and terraces on all sides.

Cons: Shops and restaurants are a short 5 mins drive away - if you want to be able to walk to these it is a bit inconvenient - but it did not bother us.

Just great

Pros: It was like moving into a perfectly fucntioning family house. It already had all the small thing that you would normally have to go and buy. Eva was a exelent host.

Pros: Angielski We evaluate our stay as very positive. We didn't lack anything. The swimming pool turned out to be great entertainment for the children. All the equipment is very helpful: grill, washing machine. Everything's great. The owner of the house is very friendly. We recommend . Martin

Pros: Villa Nimertis is a fabulous retreat located away from everything! It is nestled high up in the mountains and its clever design affords fabulous views of the sea and mountains from all aspects. The villa is well equipped and nicely furnished making for a comfortable stay. The pool and jacuzzi and the shady seating area often make it hard to leave the villa!

Wow!! Excellent place, will definitely return!!

Pros: Excellent villa, amazing pool & lovely hosts. Pics don’t do this place justice. Amazing views, peaceful, private & yet only 10 mins drive from beach & amenities. Eva was lovely, on hand should you need her & gave us lots of tips and recommendations for the area via WhatsApp. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need, fully equipped kitchen, air con & the washer was a bonus. Eva even supplied beach towels for the sun beds around the pool. The outside decking area was lovely with a large dining area and a great BBQ. Pool was amazing and very private. Yes, there was a dog next door but it only barked occasionally and as the property is completely screened off it didn’t bother us at all. Once you see the breathtaking views of the sea, olive groves and mountains the occasional dog bark isn’t even noticed. Amazing place, highly recommend

Perfect peaceful luxury

Pros: Clean, spacious and stylish villa with a lovely private pool and lots of outside space. Not overlooked, beautiful views of the White mountains on one side and the coast 5km away on the other. Surrounded by fantastic countryside - olive groves and citrus trees. Lovely peaceful walking and running routes literally outside the front door. Easy access to the main road up and down the coast, handy for supermarkets and restaurants and half an hour from Chania and the airport. The owner very kindly allowed us to stay around until early evening as we were on a late flight and gave us a lovely parting gift of honey and local herbs.

Cons: The dogs next door bark at everything they see, but once you are out of sight they stop - so they are not a real problem

Lovely family stay

Pros: The property catered well for a family holiday with a 5 month old baby with a cot provided. The pool was nice and was cleaned at the start and end of our stay. The view was excellent on both sides - lots of options with all rooms having balconies. Location is great for Falasarna Beach during the day (about an hour) and Agia Marina for nighttime (about 20 min drive). The host was very friendly - she met us at the property and came to say goodbye, and provided recommendations via WhatsApp at the start and during our stay. Clean towels and sheets were provided halfway during our stay as offered by the host.

Cons: Great for exploring the western end of the island near Chania and even to Rethymno (just over an hour) but much further to locations such as Knossos Palace, Heraklion and other eastern locations.
