Petronila Luxury Villa with heated private pool

Lovely Villa, Amazing Owner.

Pros: Excellent location to explore Western Crete. Spacious rooms, large pool all immaculately kept. Kostas (the owner of the villa) is the best holiday rental owner we have encountered. Extremely generous, kind, pleasant, and available to answer any questions when needed. He is also not overbearing and always asked permission to pop over and clean the pool etc. However, he never once entered the villa while we were staying there. He was a pleasure to deal with and we hope to stay in this villa again one day.

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.

Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Petronila Luxury villa! The hosts Kostas and his family were incredibly polite, kind, and welcoming – they truly made us feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious cretan homemade food they prepared for us, which added such a special, personal touch to the experience. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained – everything was tidy, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended, and we would love to return!

Great holiday in a lovely villa with fabulous host.

Pros: Spacious and well equipped villa nestled in a quiet olive grove. Good sized pool and garden with the addition of a large pool house for outside dining. Our host Kostas, together with his family made us feel very welcome and was available to help or answer any questions. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Pros: A Dream Holiday at Petronella Villa Petronella Villa is the perfect getaway—whether you're on a family holiday or a peaceful solo retreat. Nestled in nature and far from the crowds, it's incredibly quiet, with only the sounds of animals and the scent of herbs in the air. The house is spotless and fully equipped with everything you might need. We were warmly welcomed by the wonderful owner, Kostas, who treated us to fresh fruits, vegetables from his garden and of course local wine and raki. The villa also has two friendly cats that kept our kids company all day—a lovely bonus for animal lovers! Every window offers a stunning view, and the area is safe, serene, and full of kind, helpful locals. The nearby restaurants serve amazing food at very affordable prices, and if you're looking for adventure, Kissamos has plenty to offer. Truly a magical place to relax and recharge. We will be definitely back there again.

A serene and beautiful location, with convenient access to everything you need and a comfortable and well appointed hous

Pros: Perfect location, in a quiet olive grove, with amazing pool and everything you need for an extended stay. The house is well set up to work remotely from if you need a desk and space for quiet work. The nearby town of Kissamos has plenty of shops and restaurants and all of the attractions of Western Crete are only a short drive away. Kostas was an unbelievably welcoming and generous host and looked after our every need. We would definitely stay again.

Pros: Petronila is a sensational villa. Kostas was the perfect host, always available to help if we needed it and he kept the fridge stocked with local wine, fresh vegetables and eggs from his farm. The villa was spotless, perfectly maintained and had a brilliant pool house where we spent a lot of our time. I couldn't express enough how much we loved our time in Crete and our stay in Kissamos at Petronila. Thankyou Kostas! We will be back 🙏

beautiful villa, great for small groups

Pros: amazing villa, lovely pool, nice area, walkable distance to kissamos but you probably want a car to go anywhere else. kostas was lovely, filling the fridge with essentials such as eggs and fruit and was really helpful whenever I messaged (couldn’t get hot water to work but was a simple fix) would recommend this villa to anyone

Cons: only thing I would suggest is a bit of an information pack in the villa, to state things like the wifi password in case people forget and advice on which local restaurants are good :)

Villa mit allem was man braucht, und ein perfekter Gastgeber.

Pros: Die Villa liegt in einem Olivenhain und ist dementsprechend ruhig und gleichzeitig nah am Ort Kissamos. Der Gastgeber Kostas sort bestens für seine Gäste. Angefangen von den Lebensmitteln im Kühlschrank, über Tipps für die Umgebung bis hin zu eigenen Produkten (Olivenöl) und kulinarischen Geschenken die außer gewöhnlich gut waren. Die Villa selbst ist bestens ausgestattet - der beheizte Pool lädt auch Ende Oktober zum baden ein. Absolute Empfehlung für jeden der den Westen Kretas erkunden will!

Marvellous Villa in perfect location

Pros: Wir haben 5 Tage in dieser Villa verbracht. Es war wunderschön. Der Pool und die Outdoor Hütte haben wir rege genutzt und darin viel Zeit verbracht. Die Gastgeber Kostas und Eleftheria waren so gastfreundlich und haben uns bei der Begrüssung ein wunderbares Welcome Package bereitgestellt. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und jederzeit gut betreut. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
