Very positive experience at a nice place a few steps away from the beach

Pros: Zinovia is a very nice place, we are staying there for the second time. This time we stayed in the newly built apartment: it's quite compact, with one double bed and an additional convertible. The apartment is sufficient for 2 people, properly equipped and furnished. The beach is probably 100 meters away, the bus stop is 5 minutes walking, there are shops and good restaurants in the area. The hosts are a very nice and friendly family, always available for any questions. Check-in and out are pretty flexible, it is possible to leave the luggage there if needed. Overall it is a very good experience and we will definitely come back.

Fantastic!

Pros: The hosts at Zinovia were fantastic. Very attentive, cleaning the apartment daily with fresh towels. I felt very comfortable and calm as a solo-female traveller. Location is PERFECT! 1 minute walk to the beach. I'll definitely visit again, and recommend Zinovia to everyone.

Great place and fantastic people - highly recommend!

Pros: Absolutely amazing hosts- very friendly, kind , polite and helpful. Superb location- literally 1min to the beach. Very clean apartment, with towels and sheets changed regularly. All the essentials in the room. We arrived late at night - and we were welcome nicely ❤️ Definitely highly recommended and can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay☺️

Pros: Great hospitality from Haris, Stella, Kostas, Zinovia and the grandmother. I liked wakening up with the sound of the singing birds in the morning. Quiet location close to the sea. Excellent WIFI and was able to work online.

Great place, amazing view from upper rooms

Pros: The view from the upper rooms is very nice. Friendly host. Large room if you're travelling alone. It's close to where the bus from Rethymno stops, but be aware that you have to walk a very steep road (between the supermarket and the cafe).

Cons: I was there for 4 nights, but didn't get clean bed sheets or towels. It was okay for me, but for others it might be an issue (however, you can probably just ask for it, which I didn't:)

Convenient stay near the beach and in easy reach of Chania old town

Pros: Lovely hosts who warmly welcomed us and didn't mind our very early departure, very clean, quiet building, lovely plants all over the garden, proximity to the beach and to public transport (direct bus to Chania old town).
