Villa Calliope

Lovely villa, great location

Pros: Very clean & modern Good aircon in all rooms Plenty of chairs & sunbeds outside Pool towels provided Great location for local tavernas which all meals were excellent & then only 20minutes walk into the old town.

Cons: No locks on any of the bathroom doors, not ideal when 2 families staying. The bathroom with the bath needs a shower curtain, water just went everywhere when showering. The pool was freezing we hardly used it, even with 30c plus weather.

A Wonderful stay!!

Pros: The facilities provided were of a great standard. The property was very luxurious with wonderful outdoor facilities. The host provided lovely fresh local produce for us to enjoy when we arrived which was a lovely touch. The owner was easily contactable throughout the holiday when we needed them

Cons: An extra gate fob would be handy when you have a big group staying but this wasn’t a big issue

Pros: A lovely villa which was walking distance to town. Not overlooked and very clean. Would book again.

Perfect villa for our family holiday

Pros: This is a beautiful villa, very clean and modern, with everything you need, including nice touches like bathrobes, a nice welcome package of food and drinks, and pool towels. We were welcomed on arrival and given a full tour, and Maria was available for any inquiries. The pool is perfect for kids to splash in and adults to cool off, and there were some toys and inflatables for fun games. The kitchen is well equipped and we used the barbecue too. It’s in a quiet residential area which feels very safe and there is a big supermarket and multiple smaller shops within a few minutes walk.

Cons: The location is very convenient if you can handle an easy 15-20 minute walk, as you can walk to the beach or central Chania in that time. But the buses to town weren’t as frequent as we had hoped and getting taxis for our elderly father was tricky at times. Not the fault of the property, just something for visitors to be aware of. Similarly the marble floors are beautiful but very slippery if they get wet so do be careful to wipe feet and mop up spills. There is only one key so a bit of coordination needed if your group split up for the day.

A spacious, modern villa, in walking distance to centre with the kindest host ever!

Pros: Lovely spacious villa with the added bonus of secure parking and a private pool. However, what really made this villa exceptional was our host, Maria. She was extremely friendly, responsive on text, offered lots of suggestions and went out of her way to ensure our holiday was as comfortable as possible. Her kindness and generosity was extremely appreciated!

Beautiful modern villa with all mod cons

Pros: A beautifully appointed villa with lots of extras which we hadn’t expected. There were bath robes, towels and plenty of kitchen provisions. Also in a quiet residential area and walking distance to shops and large supermarket.

Cons: It wasn’t a great walk into town through the residential streets but we had a great taxi service with Aria who was on hand when we needed her.

Best family villa you could ask for.

Pros: Everything. Fantastic property with everything you need to relax. Owner was brilliant and so welcoming. Also provided great recommendations on restaurants and local coffee shop. Plenty of room for a family and great to have parking for 2 cars.

The best holiday, wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: The property is simply stunning, very welcoming and homely. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

Amazing holiday location

Pros: The property is so beautiful, well equipped with everything you might need. From having 3 bathrooms, to large beds, air conditioner, kitchen fully stuffed, and the outside area is such a relaxing spot also. The owner Maria is the most lovely lady we met, so nice and helpful. The property is at 15 min walk to the old town Chania, again, amazing location can’t find any flaws.

Cons: Everything was spot on.

Een heerlijk huis!

Pros: Zeer prettig huis met voldoende ruimte voor 8 personen. We kwamen laat aan maar er was water, bier, wijn en ontbijt in de koeling. Dat was echt top!

Cons: De bedden waren aan de harde kant. Het huis ligt op 20 tot 25 minuten lopen vanaf het oude centrum.
