Villa Giota

Pros: As a family of six with grandparents, parents and children, we had a fantastic week staying at beautiful Villa Giota at the end of October. Giota and her family are incredibly kind and helpful hosts - the house has everything you can possibly need for feeling like home away from home. They had even gifted us some essential groceries when we arrived quite late at night, which we were very grateful for. The house is beautifully decorated with generous bedrooms, three bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen which we used daily for cooking family meals and cozy spaces for socialising both indoors and outdoors. There is a free park and ride bus to Chania city centre only a 5 minute walk away, two beautiful beaches and plenty of options to buy groceries only a few minutes walk away. Would love to return and would highly recommend anyone looking for a home away from home on a family holiday. Thank you so much Giota and family!

Pros: It was clean, spacious, the pool was lovely and the rooms were large and comfortable. It was superbly placed, a short walk to the beach and cafes, and the bus stop into Chania. Extra little things like a stocked fridge and cake on arrival and use of beach towels was lovely. The hosts were very responsive to any queries and very welcoming.

Cons: The area behind the villa was a bit of an eyesore. The kitchen facilities were a bit limited - not many over trays and no lights in the kitchen but very minor things

Great location for Chania and beach

Pros: Good location for exploring Chania. Free bus to centre with nice beaches and tavernas a very short walk away. Nice pool, all facilities you could ask for and great cake!

Cons: Road outside could be noisy at times.

Brilliant villa in a wonderful location!

Pros: Comfortable villa with everything you could possible need. Villa located near beach and restaurants. Really appreciate the welcome pack of food; especially the home made cake.

Beautiful villa with great location.

Pros: Everything was just perfect! We really enjoyed our time at the villa. Pool area was great. Kids loved swimming. Location is good, it’s only 20min walk from the city. We also used free bus to the city. Host family was very helpful with everything. We would love to visit this place again!

Pros: Outdoor space was amazing. Welcome pack was above the average. Comfy beds. Top floor view for sunsets and amazing views

Pros: It was clean and spacious. The views of the sea are superb. We all enjoyed the outside area, especially the pool. Our hosts were welcoming and gracious, all the little extras that were provided (freshly picked apricots from their garden and welcome cake) were very much appreciated. We all enjoyed our holiday very much. Easy to get into Chania Town, we either walked or caught the bus.

Pros: The home was very clean, spacious, and stylish. Our host made sure that we had all that we needed, including a cake/bottles of water/fruit/meat and cheeses upon our arrival! The location was a 5 minute walk to the beach, tavernas, a bakery, and food market. We felt safe and comfortable here. Would definitely stay again!
