Perfection

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sandy Villas. The staff were amazing and super helpful. The house was beautiful, spotless and super spacious. Excellent location on the beach and in the heart of beautiful Agia Marina. We will be back!!

Pros: Villa was very cozy with a great view. It is also located right next to the beach and amazing restaurants. The owner and staff was very helpful if we ever needed anything. Big bonus was that almost every bedroom has their own bathroom. Perfect fit for a big group.

Amazing family holiday

Pros: Very convenient location, next to amazing restaurants, lovely beach and 35 minutes from Chania Airport. Plenty of room in the villa to socialise and also have your own space. Amazing views from the roof with lovely pool.

A wonderful property, great facilities, fabulous location and super helpful staff. Would go back tomorrow if I could!

Pros: It is an amazing property, really well kept and great facilities. Comfy sofas, lovely beds, clean bathrooms with great showers, and good kitchen facilities. We had a couple of issues initially but these were sorted really quickly by the owners so not even worth mentioning, just to say that they were really helpful by rectifying them quickly, which is all you can ask for really. The location is also great, really close to the beach and local restaurants and shops, but still fairly private. Couldn’t have asked for more, would return in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone.

Cons: The only issue is that due to the design there are a lot of steps, which is great for exercise and keeping fit but might be off putting for someone who would struggle with this.

Amazing villa, huge and room for 4 adults, 2 teens & a child

Pros: The roof terrace with pool was amazing and private. Villa was perfectly located for shops, bars, supermarkets etc. public transport easy and very cheap. Villa was clean, perfectly equipped and air con in all rooms with bath and separate beach towels provided - hugely helpful not to have to pack those! Locals were incredibly friendly and the food amazing. Hosts were fantastic and arranged transfers (although we cancelled return and used public transport as so easy). Chania was a short bus ride and a wonderful day exploring. We all got fit going from ground floor to roof as a lot of steps but that was fine and only to be expected in a villa that size!

Sandy Point Villas

Pros: The location is perfect. A two minute walk from the beach in one direction and the town in the other direction with lots of fab restaurants and bars. The sandy beach and sea are lovely with a gradual incline into the water which made it perfect for the younger children. The sea is crystal clear so it was perfect for snorkeling. The villa was brilliant and spacious for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. The air con and WiFi were both very good. The pool and roof terrace were great. The owners were very good at communicating throughout our stay and helping with any questions. Where we did have minor issues at the villa they kept in communication and helped sort them. Chania is definitely worth a visit, it is €2 on the bus. We also hired a car and explored the west coast where there were some beautiful spots.

Cons: Groceries at the local shops are quite expensive so it is worth taking a trip out to one of the larger supermarkets such as Lidl. We had some nights disturbed by large groups in some of the other villas although they quietened down when we went round and spoke to them.

Perfect location to stay.

Pros: The location is fantastic, beach at the end of the road is really nice and the restaurants in the area were really good. The views of the sea from the roof are amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. Bedrooms and living area are great. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. We would stay here again, overall we felt it was good value for money even in high season.

Cons: Some of the facilities are looking a bit worn, especially in the kitchen. You would struggle to make dinner here if you’re a big group. The pool is only 0.8meters deep and the roof is not very private from the Villas next door. Air conditioning was noisy if your a light sleeper.

Excellent location and lots of local amenities.

Pros: Fabulous location, within steps of the beach and a multitude of tavernas and bars. Very spacious property. Views from rooftop pool and solarium were amazing.

Cons: Although advertised with car parking, there was no parking on site and we were not signposted to designated parking. The televisions did not work, unless you had access to personal Netflix, Goole, etc accounts.

Pros: location excellent perfect access to beach 100 metres, shops 50 metres, dozens of pubs restaurants within 300 metres. Beach bars all nearby, if you spend money the sunbeds are free.

Cons: A bit of building noise, but no major problem.
