Giannoulis – Santa Marina Beach Hotel

Super friendly staff and beautiful beach

Pros: We had a great stay at Santa Marina. The staff were super friendly and welcoming! The hotel is right in front of a beautiful sandy beach with sun beds available. One of the bars is right by the beach to enjoy some drinks without leaving your spot.

Pros: Everything was exceptional. The staff was super helpful and nice. The location is very good , you have a nice sea view from the hotel, with a nice sandy beach. The food was good and diversified, the rooms were also very clean. The hotel helped us with the transfer from the aeroport and upgraded our rooms from pool view to sea view for free. I encourage you to choose this hotel. In front of the hotel is the public bus station and you can go to Chania(2€ per person and the trip is 20 minutes long).

Great place. Right on the beach. Nice sand, clean and shallow water. Close to Chania which is a love

Pros: The breakfast is very rich. And the beach is right in front of us

Cons: The rooms and bathroom need updating.

Super good, if you are in five star section

Pros: Five star section so much better. Huge quality difference. Size of room and bathroom (double showers). Staff is amazing, especially Amalia, front desk manager, whom made the stay amazing for us. Also the Guest relation manager; Xara, was super helpful. Great with advice on things.

Cons: Almost no hangers in the bath room for towels. Two hangers for small towels, and two for large, is way to few. Room 804 is terrible. To few sun beds and umberellas. People ”reserving” spots early in the mornings. Same with beach sun beds.

Pros: The five star section was so much better and calmer. A Huge difference in question quality

Pros: Great location, beach is sandy, great view from restaurant, friendly staff. Overall nothing to complain about. Reality similar to pictures. AC worked well and pool view was cute.

Cons: Same breakfast every day and it was a little bit boring. Guests took the beach chairs by placing towels on them and basically not even being at the beach, not enough beach chairs so we had to pay for the ones at the place next to hotel.

We just expected more while paying such a price

Pros: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are AMAZING. And the staff is really friendly (except for one man at the reception desk). Live music as well👌nice gardens and flowers all around the place.

Cons: We had a huge cockroach in our 5* room one morning. The room was quite far away from the seafront (we just expected it to be right at the beach, but the hotel is separated into some different parts that confused us a bit). It’s obviously a bit old hotel, some renovations are needed

Good place for a family vacation

Pros: - very friendly staff, patient with small children and very helpful (had a small issue with the AC system, raised it to reception and they solved it same day) - good WiFi, better than many other places in Greece - excellent sandy beach, smooth sea entry - fair selection of breakfast items - within walking distance of several good restaurants and tavernas

Cons: - very small bathrooms

Pros: The hotel has a beautiful beach! Food was great and we are especially thankful to the staff! Everyone was professional, helpful and friendly despite the very hot weather we faced this week (which made work challenging for them I am sure). Thank you for making our holiday great and relaxing. We had very nice time and hope to return. 😊

Pros: Close to other beaches and the city, nice location and cute beach. Food was good aswell for an all inclusive
