A lovely spot to get away from it all.

Pros: Very quiet, unspoilt, location - no noise pollution. Very relaxing and superb location.

Cons: Nothing we didn't like

Perfect location for getting away from it all.

Pros: Beautiful location close to the sea in small bay. Lovely covered terrace where food and drinks are served. Comfortable and clean rooms with good sized terrace/balcony. Peaceful, tranquil and Pavlos and staff are very helpful and friendly.

A wonderful place to chill out.

Pros: It has a wonderful location and Pavlos and his team work really hard to ensure your stay is everything you hope it will be.

Pros: Amazing location right by the sea with fantastic views.All rooms have a balcony. Pavlos the owner extremely friendly and helpful. Account is basic but comfortable.It’s definitely worth a visit.

A hidden paradise

Pros: The location is out of this world, you travel here with a taxi boat and you step into another dimension. The sea is wonderful and the starts at night!!!!

Grecian peaceful paradise

Pros: Pavlos is amazing! Our stay was amazing. This place is paradise. Home cooked food at great prices. Spotless accommodation. A boat ride or challenging (20 min vertigo inducing ) walk to the perfect setting of Marmara beach from where you can hike into Aradena gorge. Hussein was so lovely and kind to us. Really, if you want to see the beauty of Greece, stay here!

Lovely view, friendly staff - just fix the small things

Pros: A fabulous, friendly welcome from the owner, as well as his employee, Hussain. Rooms on the upper floors have a great view of the bay; ground floor rooms slightly less so, but still sea-facing. Dinner was on the terrace right above the water.

Cons: While I'd love to rate this 10/10, the facilities could be better. There was no hot water in our bathroom, and poor water pressure to the point that showering was difficult. I think there was a laundry crisis that day, as we had to ask three times for towels (maybe that's an exceptional circumstance). Sugar was provided in the room, but without any coffee to go with it. It's certainly a lovely place to stay with a great welcome - but I feel that more care could be given to certain details, to meet expectations at this price point.

Fantastic place to relax.

Pros: This is an exceptionally quiet, peaceful, and beautiful location. The swimming is excellent with clear water and no crowds. The room was clean and comfortable. The manager and staff are very helpful.

Pros: Pavlos runs a beautiful small country taverna away the the tourist trap of Loutro. There is no pop music to disturb your night, just the sound of the waves. The rooms are quite simple but are comfortable, clean, have aircon and fridge. As in most small hotels in crete hot water is first come first serve.

Cons: Not a complaint but you have to be prepared for a hot 45 minute walk over a rough path to get here, or take the water taxi which can be bumpy when windy.
