Villa Casa Avocado

Pros: We have no words to describe how happy we were with our stay at Villa Casa Avocado! The big pool, jacuzzi, sauna, cozy house, and barbecue area – everything was perfect for relaxing and enjoying ourselves. The house has everything you need: pots, pans, tableware, coffee machine, napkins, laundry detergent – really everything! It was very clean and completely private. The hosts surprised us with so many nice touches: local products, fruit, sweets, helpful instructions, and cute towel figurines. Their hospitality is amazing – we felt like we were staying with family. Villa Casa Avocado is a place with soul, run by people who truly care about their guests. We highly recommend it! Cons: That we had to leave!

Pros: Argyro and her wonderful family had thought of every little thing. We were utterly spoiled. The house is very comfortable and superbly well equipped. From a portable speaker to wonderful fresh orange juice, the most fantastic BBQ, a full clean half way through our stay, and generous surprise gifts. The pool and sun deck was delightful, complete with inflatables for the kids and great quality sun beds and shades. Lovely restaurants and beaches in easy reach and a hedgehog to watch in the garden at night. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Cons: Nothing!

The best hosts ever and such a perfect place!

Pros: I don't think we've ever met such loving care from the hosts as in Casa Avocado. Absolutely lovely and gorgeous property, full of character and little thoughtful things, was perfect place to explore Crete. Spotless clean with every little detail provided. When there was an issue with water pressure due to the local authority works, the hosts came about at 1 am in the morning to bring us a 6 pack of bottled water! And handmade cakes, fruit, breakfasts, fresh oranges - all of those little things made it the best place we've been to so far. Thank you!

Beautiful private retreat location, excellent facilities for a family stay

Pros: Beautiful private gated retreat location, excellent facilities for a family stay, with a short drive to local towns with all amenities. Well located for reach of western beaches and Chania. Very clean and comfortable. The host and her family are very welcoming and attentive to their guests, cleaning the property halfway through the week and providing fresh products from the site. It was a pleasure to stay here, I hope to again soon.

Cons: Nothing really. The only niggle for us was the WC plumbing not accepting toilet paper made things a little difficult with a young family. It would be better to have a toilet bidet hose installed.

Fantastic

Pros: Very nice house, it has everything you need. The owners are very friendly, they make sure that you have a great time at their accommodation. The location is also great, close to Chania and beaches, but also to beautiful gorges and the mountains. We hope to come back one day!

Good choice for holidays with family.

Pros: Nice house with everything needed. With nice patio and pool. Quiet neibourhood. House has sauna and jacuzzi for additional price, but we didn't use it. The host was very welcoming, she brought some food, water and wine for us to have for starters. And after even brought homemade cake and presents. It felt like we visited friends. Host changed bedsheets and towels after 2 days of stay and freshened up the appartment (we stayed 4 nights in total).

The perfect holiday place

Pros: Everything!!!! Th house is super well equipped, it has everything you need. The garden and the pool area is just AMAZING. It is 5-7’ drive to the beach and also close to Chania. The owners were amazing. They gave us fresh food several times and small goodbye presents. Also cleaned the house during our stay. Ive tried many properties in my life, this is the best BY FAR!!!!!

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit ganz tollen Gastgebern.

Pros: Alles war super und sehr nette Gastgeber. Die Betreuung von Anfang bis zum Ende war Spitze mit sogar einem Willkommenspaket im Kühlschrank, frisches Obst und selbstgebackenen Leckereien unter der Woche. War mega!!!! Das Bett ist ebenfalls ein Traum! Wir haben soooo gut geschlafen. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl im Casa Avocado gefühlt mit einer tollen Terrasse und Grill. Auch tolle Lage für die Erkundung von West-Kreta.

Cons: Das wirklich Einzige was zu bemängeln ist, ist dass die Nutzung der Sauna (und des Whirlpools) einen erheblichen Aufpreis verlangt. Da es schon herbstlich war, haben wir das Haus auch so gewählt, dass wir die Sauna und den Whirlpool nutzen können und wir haben bei der Reservierung und Buchung des Hauses gewusst, dass es nicht kostenfrei sein würde. Jedoch summieren sich 4€ / KWh ganz schön schnell. Dementsprechend haben wir auch leider nicht den Whirlpool benutzt. Sollte das Haus für die Nutzung der Sauna und / oder des Whirlpools gebucht werden, sollte dies berücksichtigt werden.
