A great, quiet base for south-west Crete

Pros: A really nice house, full of character and thoughtful touches. The outdoor area is especially nice to sit and relax in the evening, and everything that may be needed is provided. Elafonissi is about 25-30 minutes away (gmaps doesn't show the correct itinerary, we got the right indications from the owner), but there are also other beautiful beaches to explore nearby. The host is exceptionally kind and helpful - thank you for everything!

Pros: Very nice host. The house is very ok, the location is remote in the mountins and very quiet.

Tranquility in a traditional house offering modern facilities

Pros: The photos totally reflect the reality. A traditional house from the outside, on the inside offering a great combination of traditional and modern (airconditioning, appliances including washing machine, wifi,...) and decorated with distinct taste. Welcoming hosts, parking place, a patio promising pleasant evenings under open skies. Practical starting point for Elafonisi and other wonderful beaches.

Cons: It is located in the western part of Crete which has mountainous terrain so access could be demanding for unexperienced drivers with less powerful cars. No problem in our SUV.

Pros: The house is perfectly clean and located in a very peaceful part of Crete. The host Vicky is very kind and helpful.

Cons: The road to the house is pretty dangerous. For sure only for experienced drivers.

Pros: The house is located right in front of the sea and so you have a beautiful view of the sunset. Also, the woman who is in charge of the place is very kind and often cooked for us. I would very much recommend this place.

Pros: A casa é muito acolhedora e limpa. Dispõe de todos os utencilios necessários a uma estadia prolongada. Embora a estrada de acesso seja bastante sinuosa a mesma faz-se sem problemas uma vez que dispõe de alcatrão. A vista é maravilhosa. A Sra Vicky é uma excelente anfitriã, sempre simpática e prestativa fornecendo preciosas informações sobre os acessos mais diretos e rápidos ás praias. Presenteou-nos igualmente com várias iguarias tradicionais que eram excelentes. Por certo esperamos voltar em breve. Obrigado Vicky

Soggiorno in pieno relax circondati da silenzio natura e con un tramonto da favola

Pros: C'era tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno La posizione è fantastica immersi nel silenzio e nella natura. I proprietari che abitano affianco sono davvero gentili e ospitali.

Cons: L'appartamento è unico e non c'è niente da migliorare se si cerca pace e natura.

Ottima soluzione lontana dal caos

Pros: Casa pulita ed accessoriata di tutto, host cortesi simpatici e discreti, casa posizionata sui monti lontana dal caos, spiagge piu belle facilmente raggiungibili in auto, ottime taverne consigliate dalla gentilissima Viky, sicuramente consigliato !
