Villa is at the top of mountains, nice and quiet but with car close to the beach and shops, walking distance to the rest

Pros: Piecefull place with good energy, well equipment, you have everyrhing you need

Pros: We were here in 2018, and nothing has changed apart from the weather! We were so unlucky. However, the weather was bad all over Crete. This really is a spectacular place and a lovely property. Come prepared with food and a full tank of petrol. Stylos is a good 20 minutes away where there is a small grocery shop.

Pros: Lovely fairly secluded location in the mountains in a beautiful stone house and friendly, helpful host. Incredible views of the White Mountains and the sea further away. Wonderful being away from it all and driving around to country tavernas and buying local products to eat. Lovely to have a fire with chillier evenings.

Cons: Not much but would’ve been nicer to have a proper window and light into the second bedroom. The bathroom needs updating: it’s tired and the shower door needs fixing.

Pros: This is a wonderful and cozy country house in very beautiful location with amazing mountain view from the terrace. Ideal place to relax.

Cons: There are only two things to improve: to upholster the wall above the low passage with soft material so as not to bit your head and to make little window in the second bedroom.

Pros: If you like peace and love nature, this house is for you. The host is very helpful and we spend a great time at the end of summer. You can spend evenings on the large terrace and enjoy nature. The terrace has a sun roof which is not in the photos and it really helps in the hot periods. A car is highly recommended if you want to visit this place and consider that it is a house in the mountains.

Cons: If you really know where you are going then there is nothing, because you should not expect a lot of shops and restaurants around this place. It is a place for people who like a natural first.

If you want to experience the real Cretan culture, Lithari is a great place to stay.

Pros: We’ve had a fantastic time at Lithari. The property is in a beautiful, quiet area with stunning mountain views. We enjoyed our nights on the lovely terrace, admiring the sky full of stars.

Pros: Unique house with space to unwind and relax. Lovely terrace with beautiful views.

Cons: Times quoted to Chania and other places not realistic - the hairpin roads make the location quite isolated.

Great place for a quiet stay in the hills above Chania.

Pros: Beautiful stone house in the hills above Chania with glorious views of the mountain's and valleys. Very spacious for 2 and outdoor balcony area was most welcome. A good central location in a very quiet village away from the hustle and bustle of the coast.

Cons: The only thing we found was that it was a 15 to 20 minute trip to the nearest supermarket on very windy roads. There was none in the village. This was not a real problem, if you have room bring supplies for your stay, we were travelling by motorcycle, so did not.

A paradise in nature !

Pros: Unique house with fireplace. Complete peace and quiet and yet only half an hour to Chania. I highly recommend the hiking trail on the board in the village.
