Pros: The atmosphere was so laid back and welcoming but curated in a respectful way to honor the original structure. It sounds strange but I was proud of the renovation and you could see the care at every step.

Old world charm meets modern amenities

Pros: This has to be one of those secrets you stumble across by accident. We wanted a place closer to Chania while we were in Crete. What a surprise this place is. The owner has put so much love and work into this entire place, it is evident in every stone. Every room has a motif and has been brought back to life with a mixture of tradition, antiques and modern convenience. The view from your balcony will simply stun you, with the mountains and the sea. This is one of those places that creates lifelong memories.

It’s much more than a hotel can offer. If you like to get off the beaten path and taste life- it’s the place.

Pros: The experience. Our host. The food. The views. It made me want to move to Crete.

Cons: Our toilet didn’t flush. We went during the off season and only stayed 4 days so the pool wasn’t heated.

Pros: Die freundliche, ungezwungene, liebevolle Art. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass man sehr willkommen ist. Es gab ein grandioses Frühstück, der Chef und eine junge Dame waren rundum fürsorglich und haben immer an der Anlage gearbeitet, damit alles sauber und angenehm war.
