This was a great base from which to explore Chania and Sofia was a fantastic host.

Pros: Sofia was a very kind host. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and provided 2 beautiful breakfasts which were so generous - including delicious toasties and home made cakes, biscuits and pastries. The apartment is in a perfect location - tucked away on the edge of the old city but a 2 min walk and you’re in the thick of it. We had a lovely stay.

Charming Old Town apartment

Pros: This apartment is smaller, but really nice. The location is perfect, just in the city center, just around the corner. You can sit outside on a patio. The owner is very nice, brought us an amazing breakfast and apple pie, which was very welcome and very nice. I really recommend it.

Cons: The bathroom would use some smaller repairs. Also the shower is really small, I had a harder time squeezing in since I'm tall. Also if you're plus sized, you will probably also have an issue.

Perfect location to explore Chania

Pros: Location, quiet, comfortable bed, very friendly. Slightly difficult to find. Turn right at the bright Orange house, go through the arch and then up a steep concrete path and Sofia’s house is on the right no. 5

Pros: Lots of space and lovely terrace. Bigger than the pictures implied. Bed was big and comfortable. Sofia made us a magnificent breakfast which was delicious and packed with local ingredients.

Great location has everything you need clean and miss Sofia is very friendly and helpful

Pros: Great location close to old town. Sofia’s place is tidy and exactly as described. She is very helpful and made us a lovely breakfast in the morning. Great value for money. The carpatk is about a 5 minute walk away so not far.

Pros: Lovely position, near the harbour but quiet. Breakfast was an unexpected delight.

Cons: Nothing! But should warn new visitors to follow the directions carefully. Walking up Odos Theotokpoulou, away from the sea, near the top on the right hand side there's an archway. Go through this to Veneri and there you will find number 5.
