Nice apartment for a small group at a perfect location
Pros: The 3 level apartment is nice and clean. Its location is unbeatable: 1 minute from the Old Harbour, and there is a free parking space 1 minute walk from the apartment. Very nice, cosy decoration inside. A nice bottle of red wine was a gift from the owner. More than enough space on the terrace. Thank You for the hospitality!
Cons: Early in the morning or at late evening the hot water and its pressure is not adaquate for even 1 person. Stairs can be painful for those with bad knee.

Very attractive property in a perfect location for Chania harbour and old town
Pros: Perfectly located. Very well done out. Room enough for our group of 4. Very attractive property with a great roof terrace.
Cons: Toilets were just too limited for a group of 4 adults but we managed happily as it was all so charming.

Under pressure
Pros: Cute, air-conditioned, well located and quiet - good communication from the host and no real issues. It will not be to everyone's taste because it is not particularly spacious, despite the property having four floors. The main door opens on to a small kitchen, with a bath/shower room and toilet (!) adjacent. Like a small reception area, with a dining table shoe-horned in. The free wine on arrival was appreciated but unopened and the apartment was clearly 'looked after'. We turned the sofa-bed down on the first floor because it was a nightmare upright but that probably says more about us than anything else. The second-floor bedroom was perfect and we slept well every night of our stay. There is also a third-floor mezzanine with a single bed that would perhaps allow for ghosts or memories; however, that is up to you.
Cons: No real pressure for hot water in the shower.

A charming property in a great location, well equipped and beautifully decorated
Pros: We just loved our stay at Elvie house, I wish we could have stayed longer! The house is situated in the pretty back streets of Chania town and is really conveniently situated to walk to the harbour or the town centre. The house itself is decorated beautifully, with a mix of modern features and traditional Greek art works and decorations, a great deal of care has gone into making this property feel homely.
Cons: We didn’t find anything we didn’t like! However if you are travelling with someone elderly, or with limited mobility the property may be unsuitable as it comprises 3 floors and a roof terrace, and there are quite a lot of steep stairs.

Absolutely amazing place! Beautiful interior, great terrace, perfect location.
Pros: Totally recommend this place. View from the terrace is awesome, Interior is beautiful. Wine from host was very good, cleaning the place every friday was very nice surprise, we didn't think that it is in price. Very nice. We would definitely go there again.

Pros: Perfect refurbished old house next to City centre. The terrace is wonderful.
Cons: For four adults the house is far too small, as there is no living room left.

I had a lovely time in Chania, and only wish I could have stayed longer.
Pros: The house was off a residential street on a narrow alley, so a really private and peaceful spot, complete with local cats. I prefer to lodge in old houses in old towns, and this property fit the bill. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate, bedroom really comfortable, and the rooftop patio a huge bonus. A perfect place to have a light afternoon snack, or a fat cigar and a drink in the evening.
Cons: The bathroom was somewhat cramped, and the internal stairs might pose a challenge for some. I didn't find these a problem, as the information was available beforehand. It's also a given in old Greek or Turkish houses that have been fitted to suit modern tastes.

Pros: The house was great. Very clean and in a fab location everything was nicely kept and decorated and the roof top terrace was fantastic with great views and we enjoyed spending the days and evenings up there
Cons: Only 1 sun lounger on the roof terrace and it was broken, bit of a shame but luckily they had chairs to sit on, given the size of the huge terrace 2 sun loungers would be a bonus The oven in kitchen is totally unusable whichever setting it is on it trips the electric constantly, we had to throw food away that we had bought to cook, thankfully the hob works, it was only when we got home I seen that this was previously mentioned in another review so obviously hasn't been fixed Besides these problems everything else was perfect and we would return

Cute little house in narrow pedestrian lane with comfortable facilities and great rooftop terrace
Pros: Great location, close to old city and port area, close to restaurants and shopping. Comfortable bed, large terrace on the roof with outdoor furniture (and washing machine) Bathroom and toilets are tucked under stairs, a little unusual but it works.
Cons: Elvie House is 3 rooms (kitchen, lounge, bedroom) stacked on each other so there's lots of stairs. It was fine for us but may be an issue for less mobile clients.
