Superb accommodation
Pros: really enjoyed my stay in Chania. The accommodation was superb, full of character, very clean, comfortable, and in an ideal location right in the heart of the old town, which made exploring so easy
Cons: The only small touches I missed were a TV and a full-length mirror in the living room, but overall it was a wonderful place to stay and I’d happily recommend it.

My friend and I spent wonderful week in Sundial in September 😍
Pros: The biggest advantage of this place I think is localization, it’s 30 seconds away from Venetian Harbor and all of the best taverns in Chania are very near. Anything you might need is within a walking distance. The hostess Katerina and Sundial’s staff were the nicest people ever, always trying to help with any requests. Our apartment was very neat and clean. Our rooms were very spacious and everything there seems to be brand new. Moreover, old wooden floor and window shutters give this place unique atmosphere. We had there also AC which worked really well, where there was 30 C degrees outside. I would definitely stay at Sundial again if I were in Chania 😄
Cons: Next to our apartment on 2nd floor there was a belfry and on Saturday and Sunday about 8 am it was ringing very loudly. We very just very suprised in the morning becuase we have not thought about this situation before going to sleep 😆 And our bathroom had a sloping ceiling which might be problematic for someone with height over 6 ft. I don’t consider these things as disadvantages, just as things that should be taken under consideration white choosing a place for stay in Chania. Being woken up by the church bell is one in a life time experience 😉

Pros: Sundial was immaculately maintained accomodation. The staff were sociable and friendly- always willing to chat and offer recommendations. The location was amazing
Cons: The negative for me was that the curtains were thin in our room so in the mornings there was a lot of light. As I am light sensitive when I sleep, it would interrupt my sleep. This is a personal negative- not a reflection of the total experience at Sundial

Pros: The place as a whole is lovely. It's all very clean, the rooms and bathrooms are big, in the room we had both a fan and aircon which made sleep so much easier. But what makes the experience truly excellent is Katerina! I've had plenty of good hosts in the past but she's a special one. Always available and so kind and sweet, thank you so much for your help.
Cons: The WiFi was not always working great but if you have free EU roaming you probably won't care much

Nice and comfortable room in the heart of the old port.
Pros: Spacious and nice room in an old palazzo right next to the Catholic church, and across the city's cathedral, on the way to the Venitian port of Chania. Excellent location, in the heart of the old town, comfortable and well-designed room, very hospitable and helpful hostess. I would definitely recommend it.

Pros: Staying at Sundial Lodge made my visit to Greece! It has a serene and understated elegance and caters to travelers, rather than tourists. The facilities are spotless. Care is taken with every detail in the rooms and dining area. Katerina is engaging, knowledgeable about the area, and goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. I am almost reluctant to write a review, lest the lodge becomes too popular!
