If you like to be in a more quiet area with a great view, but within a short driving distance to all of the sights, this

Pros: Great location away from noise and crowds with a beautiful view of Chania and the sea from outside terrace/sitting area. We had a car to drive into the town and Old Town whenever we wanted. Hosts were very friendly and left fruit, water, orange juice and tsipouro for us. There were also some basic staples in the cabinets. Having a washing machine and drying rack were also helpful to us as we were on a long trip. Owners have the entire building and rent this one unit short-term, plus a couple others long term. The location is conveniently at the end of the street near the water and parking was easy with no noisy through traffic.

Cons: Nothing.

Ein wundervoller Aufenthalt mit herzlichen Gastgebern und traumhafter Aussicht – sehr empfehlenswert!

Pros: Der Gastgeber war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am ersten Tag hat er uns mit seinem Auto die Stadt gezeigt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Seine nette Frau hat uns zur Begrüßung eine köstliche Süßigkeit gebracht – das war eine sehr schöne Geste. Die Aussicht von der Unterkunft war einfach atemberaubend, wirklich unbeschreiblich schön. Einziger Nachteil war die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, aber bei dem Preis, der Lage und der Aussicht war das absolut in Ordnung.
