Lovely house in a central location

Pros: Charming old house, beautifully renovated, in an excellent location. Close to everything in the old town but on a pedestrian street so nice and quiet (except for the weekend church bells!). Well equipped, with comfy beds and a nice little roof terrace. Handy little supermarket round the corner and close to nice bars and restaurants. The water filter was a real bonus.

Cons: A lounger or comfier chairs on the terrace would have been nice. The bathroom is down fairly steep stairs but that is clear in the description.

Lovely convenient spot in Chania

Pros: Wonderful location - very close to town, with free parking a couple minutes walk away. There is an excellent roof terrace (although the steps up are quite steep!) The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the house stays a very comfortable temperature with air conditioners and fans.

Pros: Great location (10 min walk from main port) and really nice place on a quiet street. Host was incredible and gave us a really late checkout for our late flight which was just amazing! Definitely recommend!!!

A comfortable stay

Pros: Tasos was a wonderful host. The communication prior to the stay was very good. The welcome drink was a lovely touch. Tasos also made suggestions for local places to eat. The apartment was spotless and the facilities were excellent. It was a 10 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants and bars were close by. I liked the fact that the location was quieter.

Cons: Although the room that I took was smaller than the master bedroom (which I gave to my friend) I had a very good sleep.

Pros: Tasos, the property owner, was so helpful and considerate and replied to all my queries and requests. I was very pleased there was a Dulce Gusto coffee machine and water purifier. Beds were great and location absolutely spot on! Shower was excellent. Just two minutes from the property are the best bakeries and sandwich shops and breakfast places in a lovely, lovely little town square away from the tourist trap places. It felt local and very relaxed.

Cons: Our stay coincided with torrential rain storm but nothing can be done about that!

Pros: A very good location in the old town of Chania. You arrive very quickly in the port and in the area with taverns and shops. The house is on a very quiet street without the noise of the city. Access cannot be done by car. If you have problems climbing the stairs, you should know that the bathroom, living room and kitchen are on the ground floor and the 2 bedrooms on the first floor. I didn't mind this. The house is arranged with good taste and you have everything you need in the kitchen

Cons: The air conditioner on the ground floor should be overhauled. Sometimes it makes a strange noise. A fan on the terrace would be useful in hot August evenings

Gut für einen kurzen Stadtaufenthalt

Pros: Frei von Verkehrslärm in einer engen Altstadtgasse. Nähe zum Zentrum. Möglichkeit einer Beheizung falls nötig. Gute Küchenausstattung. Gute Tips per WhatsApp vom Gastgeber.

Cons: (Hinweis:Für Personen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen wegen Treppen nicht gut geeignet)

A true gem in the heart of the beautiful Splantzia Square

Pros: I stayed at Suite Maritime for a week in early August and had a truly lovely experience! The apartment was extremely clean with all of the ammentities we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the shower, comfy bedrooms and balcony on the third floor. Located right near Splantzia Square in Chania, we had so many beautiful, shady restaurants and cafes right outside our door. Checking in and out was extremely easy, and Tasos was a diligent and thoughtful host.
