Alexandra Apartment Near Chania Center

Comfortable, value for money

Pros: Beautiful marble and terrazzo floors, so cool to walk on in the heat. The close proximity to the red hop on/off bus (stop 6 city courthouse), mini market and cafes on the green. Breakfast food was plentiful and appreciated. We enjoyed sitting outside under cover. The family was very welcoming and offered help, just next door. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cons: The height of the upper cupboards; we used the same two plates, glasses, cups because we couldn’t reach. The beds were very firm. The decor could use a refresh and we would have liked lamps in the living room for ambience. We weren’t able to leave the doors open for breeze because of the stray cats. The fan in the second bedroom I couldn’t turn on (maybe operator?). Google maps said 17 mins walk to the old town but don’t believe that! It was much farther.

Pros: Great apartment in a perfect location, 10-15 minute walk from centre of Chania. The apartment is well equipped and a great size for a group of people. Owner is lovely and was extremely helpful, would definitely recommend.

Pros: Great large apartment in a nice neighbourhood. Reaching the old town and the nearest beach was a mainly flat 10min walk. Lots of cafes and a supermarket nearby. The host family are very friendly and helpful too.

Pros: A lovely spacious traditionally furnished apartment with a lovely courtyard garden offering both sun and shade The owners provided a welcome package everything required for breakfast and also fruit, cake and wine there was also detergent for the washing machine and dishwasher tablets WiFi was good

Great large apartment well suited to families. Parking a bonus and a short walk to town.

Pros: This apartment is very large and suitable for families. The rooms are well insulated and comfortable. The welcome items were appreciated. Parking was easy and safe and the location only a short walk to the Old Town. The hosts were very quick to answer any questions. We would stay here again.

A perfect apartment for our needs , spacious and comfortable to use.

Pros: My daughter lives close by and was able to pick up the keys for us . The family were most helpful in facilitating this .

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Pros: Alexandra est très accueillante , nous avons communiqué très facilement et rapidement par mail . Il y avait plein de gentilles attentions à notre arrivée(fruits, vin, de quoi petit déjeuner...)on a l impression d arriver chez des amis . L appartement est conforme aux photos , il est très bien situé ( environ 15 min de marche jusqu'au vieux port ) et la place de parking est tres appréciable.. Nous avons également apprécié la terrasse qui était très agréable en cette fin d octobre . Nous avons bien dormi . Merci aux bonnes adresses d' Alexandra . Proche de l appartement à 5min , il y a aussi de bonnes tables avec des serveurs très sympathiques . Merci pour tout Alexandra .

Pros: Sehr freundliche Begrüßung durch Alexandra, Obst und Frühstücksutensilien waren für 4 Tage vorhanden, 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum, Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist in Chania goldwert

Cons: WLan funktionierte nur selten, Strom ist einen Tag ausgefallen

Pros: Alexandra et sa famille nous ont réservé un excellent accueil pleins de belles attentions. L’emplacement du logement est idéal pour visiter la région. Par ailleurs bien qu’en plein centre (centre de Chania accessible en 15 min à pied) le logement est extrême y calme.
