Grande Casa 1926

Pros: Casa Grande 1926 was the absolutely perfect place for our stay in Chania. The location is superb, right by the Old Town and harbour, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious and modern, equipped with everything you need and with the most wonderful and peaceful terrace. Excellent facilities, super fast wifi, comfortable beds, great hosts and a truly lovely place to stay.

Pros: Grande Casa was an exceptional place to stay. It was very spacious and comfortable for our 4 adults in the group. It was very well equipped throughout and the host (Stefanos) and his representative (Despina) were very warm, welcoming and extremely receptive and attentive to our queries. We would definitely recommend and stay here again when next visiting Chania.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was excellent — very central, just a short walk to the market, restaurants, cafes, the port, and all the shops. The apartment itself had high ceilings and a great sense of space, with a lovely terrace overlooking the inner courtyard, which we found very relaxing. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We truly appreciate Despina, who made our stay easier, and the owner Stefanos for their hospitality. The thoughtful little gift they left for us was very meaningful. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Chania, Crete.

Cons: The only downsides were the small room with 2 single beds was quite dark and the air conditioning there didn’t work perfectly, and since the building is old, the staircase was narrow and steep, which made carrying luggage a bit difficult.

Pros: Excellent location, tasteful decoration, very comfortable for a family of four. At the heart of Chania but without the noise.

Pros: Nestled amongst the high street shops and cafés, this beautiful flat is at the gates of the old town of Chania. And yet it is very quiet at any time of the day.. The comfort level for my wife and I plus 2 adult children exceeded our expectations in every way. There was air conditioning throughout the flat and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine in the bathroom. The flat has a big balcony with sun beds and a dining table, and faces the Venetian Walls that you can almost reach out to touch! The host provided plenty of written recommendations for what to do and where to eat in Chania.

Pros: Great location. Central nearby supermarket and central bus depot. On edge of old town. Lots of coffee shops and easy walk to harbour and beach. Terrace is large and sunny and totally private.

Chania old town apartment

Pros: Beautiful, spacious and clean apartment right next to Chania old town. The hosts are also very friendly and helpful. Was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay here!

Pros: Everything! Location is perfect,, right in the heart of the town, but surprisingly it is very quiet when you are in the apartment and the beautiful balcony. Beautifully decorated and renovated, it has every possible comfort you can possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable we slept so well. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. We loved our stay so much, we are definitely going to return and don't hesitate to recommend it to everyone

Pros: Great apartment with large bedrooms, next to the old town. Full equiped kitchen. Large balcony with a table and 6 chairs and 2 sunbeds. Very clean. Friendly and helpful host. Good wifi

Pros: The Grande Casa is a beautiful apartment, very clean and with all the necessary facilities avaliable. The location is very convenient as it is close to the city centre and right in front of the bus station. The house is very quiet with a large amazing balcony. We could not recommend this house more. The owner Stefanos and his friend Despotina were incredibly hospitable and helpful throughout our stay.
