Aggelos and Thisbe Chania City Apartment

Great home away from home in the centre of Chania, perfect location and great host.

Pros: Great comfortable, clean and modern apartment in excellent location just minutes from the bus station and the Chania historic centre. The apartment is well equipped and has all you need. We loved the neighbourhood which is a bit away from the tourist crowds, so very quiet, and has a more authentic local feel and some great budget eateries nearby. The host is responsive and very kind. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Cons: Here are some minor issues that can be easily addressed: The hooks in the bathroom needs to be tightened as they fall off. The fan in the bathroom needs to be cleaned. You may find the mattress in the main bedroom is not very comfortable due to the springs. Having some bedside tables in the 2nd bedroom with lamps would be a great addition.

Pros: Great host, great location, only 10min walk to the harbour. Appartment had all necessities and all domestic appliances - fridge, iron, clothes dringrack, shampoos etc. Local icecream as a welcome gift 😊 Very nice local cousine restaurant 1min walk away.

Pros: Everything! Very spacious and comfortable flat, with all the amenities, located in the city centre and is 7 minutes walking to the old port! Owner was very polite and generous. He brought us also food for breakfast and he pick us from the airport!

Cons: Nothing!

Short lived but unforgettable

Pros: What a lovely apartment in a perfect location, everything easily reached in ten mins on food, super comfy beds, lovely balcony, spacious, fruit and juice left for us, iron and hairdryer, great Aircon, all facilities and perfect lighting for getting ready (we know how important lighting is) now about George, what a lovely kind man, when I arrived I found out my dad had a heart attack and I needed to fly home the next day and George was right there to take me home, my dad's song even came on in the car and we turned it up and sat for a minute, he was very kind to me, wouldn't take my money and offered his kind words, the world can be so hard and people like George don't realise how far their kindness goes, please book to stay here, not just because it's a great apartment but because it's George's apartment. Chania is absolutely stunning!

Fabulous place and Host

Pros: This is a beautiful apartment, very spacious and very well looked after. It's located close to everything and is about 10 minutes walk to the old town. George is a great host who couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. He is very trustworthy, reliable, efficient and very nice. Always at the other end of the phone and very pro-active. Thank you George again for making our stay so nice and comfortable and going the extra mile for us. We were really touched by your kindness and warm welcome.

Central location and welcoming host

Pros: Great location in the centre of town, a short walk from the old town. The area isn't too touristy so you can experience Chania authentically - you will hear Greek everywhere rather than English, which is nice. Immaculately clean apartment and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating, even getting us a high chair and food blender for our 6 month old!

Cons: There were a few steps to get into the building prior to the lift which were a bit inconvenient with the pram. A minor inconvenience though!

Pros: The apartment is great, it is located in a very nice place, 5 minutes from the old town. You can find a parking space. Extremely clean and well maintained. In the apartment we found the necessary kitchenware, hair dryer, ironing board, iron, shampoos and soaps. The terrace is nice and enough for relaxation.. The host is very kind, helped when needed.. on my next visit to Chania, I would visit this apartment again

Pros: Everything was amazing. The apartment it's very big and spacious and the owners were very very very nice! We loved it!

Cons: The only thing is that we couldn't find free parking very close to the accommodation but it wasn't really a problem because if u search u will find nearby. Like 7 mins distance.
