Amaen Apartment

Pros: They were very in every moment, very good restaurant recomendations.

Pros: Everything was good. The location is close enough to the centre, and the apartment has a great view of the mountains. The apartment has everything that is needed for a family to spend a 2-week vacation in.

Pros: It's really hard not to give this place a 10. First of all, everything is very clean, and Artemis (the owner) is always quick to respond to any questions. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need, and there’s great attention to detail, which truly makes a difference. When we arrived in the evening, we even found some food waiting for us. We returned the favor by leaving some packaged food behind. The way this place is managed should be a model for many others.

Cons: The terrace faces a main road, which can be a bit noisy at times, but the sound is greatly reduced when you close the windows and it's nothing unbearable.

Lovely stay in Chania

Pros: We stayed 4 nights in this apartment. It was well equipped with kettle, coffee machine, microwave, oven, washing machine and lovely terrace. The host was kind enough to leave us some bread, jam, fresh fruit, orange juice and milk in the fridge for us. There was a mini market underneath the apartment which was perfect to get groceries easily. There was a larger supermarket 5 minutes down the road by walk. It is situated slightly outside of the centre of Chania but that made it easier to find street parking for the car and access motorway for when we did our day trips. By walk it was 25 minutes into the centre of Chania. Artemis was easy to contact and always available to solve any issues we had.

Cons: The road the apartment is situated on is a little noisy but we slept well nevertheless. Also we noticed a strong paint smell in the stairwell. After some ventilation with keeping the doors open it dissipated a little.

Pros: Beautiful, clean and just far enough from the center! And Artemis's recommendations were really wonderful! I'll come again! 😁

Pros: The apartment provided all the amenities. It was very clean and all areas were very comfortable. Great location close to the center. A mini market was located under the apartment so we could buy everything needed! The host was also very attentive and helpful. We will definitely come back!

Fantastic - I would go back

Pros: Easy location to access everything to have coffee, supermarket, Greek quality taverns, 20 mins from the beach walking, cleanliness, looked after property, super flex owner, fantastic balcony, feels like home

Cons: The internet connection was poor, noise from the street but expected

Great apartment with super terrace

Pros: Location is 20 mins walk out of main tourist area, apartment has excellent facilities, a huge comfortable bed and an enormous south facing, sunny, terrace with great views of the White Mountain. Welcome pack of basics for lunch / breakfast and bottled water a great bonus due to our late arrival.

Cons: The apartment itself is perfect. Just be aware it is in the newer suburbs of Chania on the side of a busy main route out of town. Not a problem if you don’t mind a walk into town, which we enjoyed.

Clean, spacious apartment

Pros: Spacious clean apartment, exactly like the photos. The host has provided for free food which was not expected. We really appreciated.

Cons: The location is not that centered, but it is easy to find parking so it is fine. The entrance of the apartment has a weird smell.

Home away from Home

Pros: The Apartment was more than expected! It had already all the basic amenities you would need to live there for a few days without needing to go shopping. Like, fresh fruits, bread, cheese, ham, coffee, milk, juice, even sweets, shampoo, shower gel, lotion, washing gel for washing machine and much much more. Towels were there more than enough. AC works. Apartment is super clean and also looks quite stylish. Very modern. Huge huge terrace with a view of the mountains. We immediately felt home. Nothing was missing. The owner replies very quickly and is super helpful in planning your stay there. Key pick up was from the store right under the apartment where you can shop basically everything from food, to sanitary or household stuff. The staff was very kind and helped us with taxi bookings. We were positively surprised and will definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family!

Cons: Chania Center is about 20-25 mins walk. We didn’t mind since that way we could stroll a bit through the more local residential areas away from tourists hot spots, but people should keep that in mind when booking. I read in some comments that people complained about the street noise. But when the windows are closed you don’t really hear anything so that was no problem either.
