Double View Apartment

Excellent stay in Agia Marina

Pros: The apartment is in a touristic area close to the sea, a good base to visit the beaches in the north (Balos, Falasarna, Stavros). It is on a second floor (with no elevator) of a building next to the door and to a supermarket. The street is a bit noisy but if you live in a city you are used to it. The flat has a lot of space, big balcony, large bathroom and is very well equipped, like being at home. Close to the flat there is a good supermarket and several shopping places. We had a very good communication before the arrival with Alex.

Cons: The flat miss some instructions on how to operate the appliances and the barbecue, and some suggestions about what to do and where to eat. Moreover the gas tank of the barbecue was empty and we tried to contact Alex but we get no reply. Nothing serious but an area of improvement

Pros: Wonderful and enormous balcony, very nice hosts, if you want to use kitchen there is everything you need, location is perfect but of course there is street noise

Great apartment with amazing view

Pros: It's a great and cozy apartment with fantastic porch and amazing see view. It is very well equipped and has everything you can need to feel just like home, even a dressing room. The entrance is on the main road (just next to the tourist agency). Beach, restaurants and shops are a few meters from the apartment. There is a bus stop near by where you can take the bus to Chania (1.60 EUR one way). We were welcomed by Manos who is a very outgoing person and gave us some really good advices. Agia Marina is very colorful little town with excellent beaches and we loved it a lot. You should bear in mind that the apartment is quite noisy because it's on the main road and just next to it there is a big supermarket. That means that from early mourning until late evening you can hear loading trucks, rattling trash cans and shopping trolleys. But if you are ok with that just go for it. The apartment really worth it.

Cons: The host Alexander sends only automatic messages so in fact you don't have any contact with the host until you get there and meet Manos. Even if you have questions or you get lost and can't find the apartment you can't even call and ask because the contact phone number of the host in Booking doesn't work.

Pros: Appartement mit toller Terrasse und sehr guter Ausstattung. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Nordwesten der Insel zu erkunden. Check in verlief ohne Komplikationen. Supermarkt und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
