Super host and relaxing Sougia

Pros: Marcus was a fantastic and attentive host at Syia Hotel. We were upgraded to an apartment which was cleaned everyday and the facilities were perfect. At first we booked just for two nights, but we enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay for 4 more nights. The hotel is located very close to a beutiful quiet beach (150 meters and you are in the water) and the great tavenas/restaurants of Sougia. Coming back for sure!

Pros: Markos is absolutely the nicest landlord I've ever met, ready to provide customers with important and reliable information as for restaurants, places to visit, and really attentive towards them. Busides, the hotel is located in a beautiful place of Southern Crete, far away from mass turism.

Perfect stay🌺

Pros: Perfect location, quiet, gardens are beautiful. Marko and family are great hosts so friendly and so helpful with top tips. The lovely ladies who clean also so friendly and most obliging. The room/apartment was perfect and a great size. Spotlessly clean. A great find and would love to come back. Highly recommend. 🌺

Pros: Super friendly owner / manager (Markos) , spacious and not far from the beach (4-5 mins walk)

Cons: Based on the description and our expectations, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Pros: Excellent family run hotel. Lovely spacious room with a terrace with mountain view, very clean. Sougia is the perfect place if you just want to relax away from mass tourism and discover wonderful landscapes while hiking. Markos is a very friendly host. When we returned from the Samaria Gorge, we found a dessert with a dedication in the fridge. We will definitely stay again.
