Oasis on the South Coast

Pros: Great beachfront location with large, clean rooms and staff that attend to every detail with enthusiasm and a smile. It has a beach bar, beach beds and umbrellas. The town is quiet and well located to all the spots you might otherwise travel to from Chania. Beats Chania hands down!

Pros: It is a great Hotel, very close to the Beach. All the Staff are very helpful with everything!!

Pros: Great location, comfortable, value, great staff. We loved Sougia and felt it was the most authentic and pleasant place we stayed in Greece.

Real taste of Cretan hospitality

Pros: Everything. The atmosphere was great with lots of shrubs, plants and flowers in the central area, Sun loungers on the beach [free fo residents] The owner was extremely helpful givings updates on hiking situuations, best places to go etc. Restaurants [especially his restaurant] were great. Also nice bars nearby. Two well stocked supermarkets with local produce. Nice beach.

Pros: The studio was spacious, if a little dark (which could be a bonus in the heat of summer). We knew we had booked a ground floor studio and the photos were accurate. As someone who enjoys being sociable, I enjoyed the feel of people passing to and fro past our outdoor seating area. We were just a few metres from the beach. The beach-side cafe attached to the Santa Irene did great coffee, with beautiful views and a really nice vibe.
