Pros: We had a fantastic stay in this property! It was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine, which was a huge plus. The space was spacious and immaculately clean - we appreciated the attention to detail. The location was great too. Would definitely recommend and return!

Our two-week stay in this lovely villa was excellent.

Pros: The owners Michalis and Fyla live nearby and were very friendly, welcoming, generous and helpful in every way. Villa Gianta has a spacious living and kitchen area, with a large dining balcony terrace with great views over the bay. The villa was very clean and well-equipped, the pool was equally clean and well-maintained, and the barbecue was very efficient. The villa is peaceful yet a short walk to the bakery in Drapanias and an easy drive to good tavernas and restaurants in Kissamos. Western Crete with its scenic mountains, bays and beaches is a delight to explore from Villa Gianta.

Pros: Great location, although the owners live very close you don’t feel like you’re being watched. It’s a great spot and you feel like you have the area all to yourself

Cons: The only thing we didn’t love was the beds. The mattresses were a little firm for us. But that was a small note on an otherwise fantastic experience

Wonderful island and place and great hosts

Pros: The house is well equipped with everything we needed. The pool is very big and it was a great option for the days we were too tired to go to the beach. The beach is very close to the house, 3 minutes by car, and it’s a wonderful beach with warm water and very empty. The hosts are absolutely great people and very communicative. They answered all of our questions and quickly addressed minor issues we had during our stay, including provided a beach umbrella to us when we asked them where to buy one. They also welcomed us with an amazing fruit basket and wine and a few days later gave us another wine and grapes of their own production. We had an amazing experience and we’ll definitely be back!

Pros: Das Haus, das ruhig mitten in Olivenhainen 10 Autominuten von Kissamos entfernt liegt, hat drei Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder. Sehr schön ist der Ausblick von der oberen Terrasse und der tolle Pool. Man kann wunderbar in der Villa Gianta entspannen; in Kissamos hat man gute Möglichkeiten einzukaufen. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich, wir wurden mit Wein und einem Obstkorb begrüßt. Michalis schenkte uns sogar Olivenöl aus eigenem Anbau und wir durften seine leckeren Tomaten ernten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine schöne Zeit mit unserer Familie!

An absolutely delightful stay for our family

Pros: The villa is beautifully located in the middle of an olive grove, with a view towards the sea. It has everything you may need, including a well equipped kitchen, with an oven, microwave and washing machine.It's quiet, but also has a lovely bakery, bar and restaurant nearby. But what really made it one of our top holiday stays were the hosts: very welcoming, helpful and they spoiled us with gifts :)

Pros: Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt! Das Haus liegt wunderschön inmitten von Olivenbäumen, ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Die Vermieter waren unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir mit einem Früchteteller und einer Flasche Wein empfangen und zum Abschied gab es sogar noch einheimisches Olivenöl als Geschenk. Alles war sehr gepflegt, der Pool ein Traum, und die ganze Atmosphäre einfach wunderbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hier ist es für einen Familienurlaub super

Pros: Sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern, der Innenraum ist sehr schön gestaltet und man hat genügend Platz für alles. Auch Netflix und Disney war dabei.
